What prevents a minotaur from attempting a resolution far outside of its range?
At its best I assume this prevents a monitor exploding from attempting a 9! roselution, though I've seen it go the other way where the cracked out auto-resolution feature picks some wonky as fuck off-center decision and gives you like a third of the screen after it locks in.
When did this start?
Most Minotaurs understand that if they try to take something outside of its range it will be ineffective. So they use there moves to rush in before dealing massive melee damage.

Minotaurs have to protect their home range, if they travel too far they risk losing their chances during the rut.
