does your institute have a CompSci club? Regardless, I'd try to start networking with other Computer Science majors and anyone else in that lane as soon as possible if I were you. And if possible, do what you mentioned (internship experience and projects) now, before it's too late. Given your time constraint, you're probably gonna have to kiss a lot of ass. But hey, it'll pay off when you get offers and end up with a job, or at least some experience.

No, I tried to start one but people weren't willing to fill in the office positions. I'm gonna try it again next year and just give people titles while I do all the work.
