So I started up my laptop today and the cpu fan revs up a bit then stops and repeatedly does this at increments. I cleaned it out and noticed that it doesn't seem to spin as much as it used to, I couldn't find anything obstructing it, so is it pretty much dead? I've had it for about ~4 or 5 years now.

How does it make you feel that the most secure OS ever - was made by a feminist woman? This is not a joke. Qubes OS is the most secure operating system that was ever created.

---

>Is Qubes just another Linux distribution?
>If you really want to call it a distribution, then it’s more of a “Xen distribution” than a Linux one. But Qubes is much more than just Xen packaging. It has its own VM management infrastructure, with support for template VMs, centralized VM updating, etc. It also has a very unique GUI virtualization infrastructure.

---

>My name is Joanna Rutkowska (pronounced: root-kov-ska). I've been contributing to several fields of computer security engineering over the past 10+ years. Chances are quite high you might have come across some of my projects or work. These include: my work on desktop systems security, especially the work on Qubes OS, my work on virtualization (in)security, and other hardware-enforced security mechanisms, such as Intel vPro technologies, their vulnerabilities, as well as how they could be used to build more secure systems. Before that, my primary focus was on kernel-mode rootkits and stealth malware (e.g. Blue Pill), including both offensive as well as defensive research.

Your choice of picture with your post is very misleading and ironic. Miss Rutkowska is not nearly as attractive as Jessica Clements so you probably just chose that picture for the sole purpose of attracting attention to this shitty post. Have a good day.

What benefits does Windows 10 actually offer over Windows 7?

Windows 7 offers more control over your computer, but it is becoming deprecated.

I'll fucking miss it though.

Hard to say, any Youtube reviews you could link? A lot of cheap watches, especially Casios look like shit on shop pics, but look not too bad irl. Pic related, I know this one actually looks good irl.

Not the one in your image, OP. Too fucking big for ITX.

I was looking at the Fractal Define Nano, but it's just too fucking long for my taste. I don't give a shit about water cooling, so everything in front of the motherboard is just wasted space.
Pic is how I wanted it to be.

I guess I'll just keep waiting for a perfect tower style ITX case.
>>
>>54285422
Well you're cutting off space for the GPU there, if you want a small case with no gpu or cooling space there's plenty of choices.
>>
>really like the ITX aesthetic
>need 4 ram cards and 3 hard drives

Got a new phone recently. What are some apps that you think deserve more attention?

>some of mine
Flynx - open links in the background without popups

Enpass - password manager

Flud - simple torrenting app. Just werks

NetworkMonitor - refer to the pic, left too corner

Feel free to tell me to McKill MySelf™ because your apps are superior.

Chromer - Opens links in chrome custom tabs (also does pre fetching of links and shit)

Tasker - Automation and shit. You can do basically anything with it. Not really underrated though.

Tholotis - Lets you make cool blurred backgrounds from pictures on your phone.

Keyline Pushing - Absolutely a must have if you are an android developer. Extremely helpful for making sure your app is following material guidelines.

Kodi - Media player. Has a bunch of plugins and stuff for streaming tv shows and movies for free.

Tapet - Generates random material design wallpapers

Robinhood - Free stock trading app. Good for beginners getting into trading. No options though.
