I currently have a T420 memepad. I don't like the battery life and want a new laptop. I've decided on a Memebook Pro 15 inch. Anything I should know when I make the transition. Any quirk? Anything I should be aware of?

I fried a MacBook after playing vanilla Minecraft for 15 minutes. Keyboard stopped working entirely, which included the power button, so you can imagine how that ended.

It's for dirty normies.
>>

Before buying a new laptop you probably should know that you can buy an extended battery for your t420, and if I recall correctly you can even replace the disk drive with a battery.

>trackpad impossible to click near upper edge
>extremely loose near bottom edge
>overall flimsy diving board piece of shit
>even applel themselves has admitted it's utter shit now and has trashed the design to go back to copying 90's era laptops with solid non-click touchpads
>still has no real buttons
>relies on pressure sensitive gimmick bullshit
>if you press too lightly or too hard it does something completely different than what you intended
>ultra shit tier zero travel chiclet keyboard
>OSX is a steaming pile of shit with horrendous battery management
>applel's solution is to cram in a massive heavy 95WHr battery to make up for it
>even XXXTREME GAMER cancer like razer blade with 4X the CPU/GPU power and 70WHr battery matches it in battery life in same tasks
>gets BTFO by 55WHr Yoga 2 in battery life in same tasks
>the battery takes up the space where a cooling system would've been in a laptop not designed by the world's thinnest and lightest gay hipsters
>overheats at the slightest task because abysmal crippled cooling system
>throttles to 800mhz because of chronic overheating problems

I have a question that I can't seem to find a sure answer for and that is would a nvidia GT 630 2GB ddr3 (kepler) outperform an old Sapphire Ati Radeon HD 3850 1GB GDDR3 ? if so by how much ?

Can someone speaking from experience tell me if this is even worth it? I want to go from my Q9450 to a X5470 and I'm using a DDR3 mobo I'd like to hang onto. Thanks.

It would be worth it if from Q6600 or E8400 to E5450 or X5470, but not from Q9450.
Then again, its not really even a 'mod', so if you have the chips already, then proceed.
>>
>>54834419
For example, I replaced E8400 with E5450, which i got for 10 bucks or so, and it of course was worth it, because i ran the E8400 at stock.
>>
You could probably overclock your Q9450 to 3.5-3.8 or so.

The X5670 could overclock to about 4.0-4.2

However since both are same quad core, the difference wouldn't be that much.

Not worth the upgrade unless you can get it real cheap like $10 or so.

Other than click bait bullshit, I have been pleased with the evolution of the internet in the past 15 years.

There are still websites you can go to that don't have these things. There are even places in society you can go to that do not have these things.

The idea is to keep going where you want

Nothing. Just can't pirate it anymore and I don't want to press install 60-70 apps with the free version and it's not worth $7 or $10 just to back shit up.

Helium broke without a PC since Android 5 so I've been looking for a replacement.

Theres a fuckload of nandroid managers, even on the google Play store. theyre not that hard to find and they all do pretty much the same thing. Hell, most ROM managers have em built in.
