I currently have a T420 memepad. I don't like the battery life and want a new laptop. I've decided on a Memebook Pro 15 inch. Anything I should know when I make the transition. Any quirk? Anything I should be aware of?

I fried a MacBook after playing vanilla Minecraft for 15 minutes. Keyboard stopped working entirely, which included the power button, so you can imagine how that ended.

Before buying a new laptop you probably should know that you can buy an extended battery for your t420, and if I recall correctly you can even replace the disk drive with a battery.

It would be worth it if from Q6600 or E8400 to E5450 or X5470, but not from Q9450.
Then again, its not really even a 'mod', so if you have the chips already, then proceed.

You could probably overclock your Q9450 to 3.5-3.8 or so.
The X5670 could overclock to about 4.0-4.2
However since both are same quad core, the difference wouldn't be that much.
Not worth the upgrade unless you can get it real cheap like $10 or so.

Theres a fuckload of nandroid managers, even on the google Play store. theyre not that hard to find and they all do pretty much the same thing. Hell, most ROM managers have em built in.
