that's really it. they're both ultra-customizable and viable options for people who want total control. neither are as hard to install or as much of a time sink as the memes might imply.

Spaces or tabs? How many?

I kinda like 2 spaces myself, but I use 4 because that's what PEP8 says and I try to keep it consistent between languages.

Actually, Windows (NT family) is the only remaining competitor to UNIX.

I disagree, GNU/Linux, FreeBSD, OpenBSD, NetBSD, DragonflyBSD, and illumos are all continuously improving in different ways.

I just don't get it. Do you people never have to type numbers? A numpad makes number entry /so/ much easier. Are TKL keyboards a meme? Please explain.

I mainly type letters, and having a huge chunk of plastic between my keyboard and mouse is not worth the small advantage i get when typing numbers.

Sounds pretty good. Anime pedos that post on this board should be rounded up, and castrated as well. If you have a drawing of a animoo grill of a questionable age, then you ARE a pedo. Don't even try to deny it. You are aroused by an impure thought.

I don't get why people with gaming-oriented desktops install watercooling for their CPU in the first place.
It usually doesn't get quite as hot as the GPU, there are loads of aftermarket CPU coolers that cool almost as well (and without the pump noise and risk of leaking), and the positioning in a tower is damm well perfect for air cooling.
I can understand buying a vidyacard with a radiator, because it performs much better than 2-3 shitty small fans sucking hot air out of the PSU, but for a CPU it seems completely overkill.

>I don't get why people with gaming-oriented desktops install watercooling for their CPU in the first place.

If you do it right you go full custom loop and include the motherboard as well so the vrms don't fry when you push overclocks.

AIO are just for shitters though.
>>
>ignoring aesthetics and price as a factor

AIOs, when paired with good fans run cooler and quieter than almost any air cooler. They cost ~$50 more than a top end air cooler, and take up far less space inside the case. A custom loop will perform better but that's easily 2-3x more than what an AIO costs.

Also not everyone with an AIO is looking for a crazy OC. I just prefer how it looks and the low load temperatures.

My computer became very slow a few days ago it used to be very fast any idea on what's wrong with it? i was barley able to post this
