I'm gonna look into making a computer soon. Is there much of a trick to it besides picking parts from the logicalincrements guide at the price I want, putting it into pcpartpicker, and then asking /g/ for advice?
Are there people out there living with just internet as a alternative to tv?

Component wise this build doesn't have a lot going for it (anymore). With the SSD and watercooling parts you could probably get around 500-600 bucks.
Well you have some nice sick water cooling with green leds so you know this means serious gaming business. I'll give you $250.

beige is pretty nice, and I actually kind of like the modern styling with that color. It actually looks very "70s future tech" if that makes sense. However, that shiny front panel is haraam, and I'd rather have them in a horizontal form factor

Sony XB3 here. Not as good as the JBL but it's almost half the price here in Aus.
