If I torrent an album directly to my music folder, and edit the tags on one of the songs, what happens? Does the tracker force me to redownload it? Or does it send the edited file back?

You won't automatically redownload the files but you will no longer seed 100% which is a problem on some trackers with bonus points as they will only credit your account if you're seeding the full 100% and if you're the only seeder no one else will get a full copy of the file.
You should be able to partially seed though.

I didn't plot the usercount. But presumably they are also banning. It really depends on whether or not PTP will pull recruitment the instant it hits the usercap or let it hang around as there is a good chance it will dip under immediately afterwards.
Last time BTN pulled recruitment it did so when the usercap was still far below the threshold.

a couple months.
When we take a look at the post we see that the post is already a couple months old. This means they will soon be recruiting
from PU+. When we take the fact that a slightly broader userbase would increase more activity and thus more donations in consideration
we can say it's only a logical thing PTP could be doing. Using a popular platform where people come to discuss private trackers like 4chan
would be a great way of hyping up PTP by spreading fear and all kinds of other nonsensical bs. Multiple individuals from PTP have been appointed
to do such a job (aka PTP-shills). We can only wait until the user limit is reached and then expanded to 40k just so PTP staff can laugh their
asses off, reeling in PU cuck users that would gladly donates ridiculous amounts of cash to the site.
