I don't want to be very mean but I don't understand why I used to think this guy was so awesome. Maybe he is, I don't know...but I started to like him before twitter was big and peoples personality really shown through. After that I guess I forgot about him and then he exploded later on with the advent of massive amounts of social media and pop-science stuff.

Okay, so for Christmas, my parents got me an iBUYPOWER gaming computer, and it runs every thing fine so far.
And recently I bought Fallout 4...it runs like fucking shit on this computer.
And yes, I even have quality settings at the very lowest. Is there a way to make the game run at 60fps WITHOUT buying a new computer all together, or did I waste 60 bucks on Fallout?
tl;dr My gaming computer can't run Fallout 4 for shit, and I need help.

It's a flagship series ThinkPad, and they didn't fuck it up in any major way as they did with the X240, as far as I can tell. Some people will probably miss the VGA shit, but to be honest, I'd rather have the extra USB-port. Too bad they didn't put at least one type C in there, though.
I notice now, that they only have the option of a 300 nits 1080p screen. 300 fucking nits? The X250 came with a 400 nits 1080p screen! Fuck you, Lenovo. That's probably where they got that extra battery life "upgrade" from.

Thinkpads consistently have the worst fucking screens, I bought an x220 to replace my x200 and I still haven't switched over because somehow the screen has even worse viewing angles and worse colors.
Like, looking at an all blue background, the top and the bottom of the screen are different colors, shit is insanely bad.

Do you guys think AMD can get a sizable chunk of the market share this generation if Nvidia shits the bed with the 1000 series, or are consumers so used to ONLY looking at Nvidia's options that it'll stay that way?
AMD seems to have Polaris ready sooner than Nvidia has Maxwell, even if it's one quarter due to the large performance gap between the new and old generation they'll still get a good chunk of market back.

I have high hopes for Polaris. AMD have been planning for a die shrink for a longass time, it's why their 200 and 300 series cards were disappointing, they were the 'oh shit the next die shrink fell through' cards.
Nvidia on the other hand has not been planning for a die shrink, Pascal is 'Oh shit there's a die shrink now' card.
Hopes are high for polaris.
As for market share, I think nvidia is going to destroy AMD.
Nvidia cards are going to sell like hotcakes and AMD cards are going to be niche poorfag products.
