How do you get hired as a programmer?
I kniw C, C++, C# and plenty of everything.
The jobs listed require PHP and other web-related stuff, which I'd prefer to not do (web in general).
Usually they overestimate what you need to know. Just go in with what u have and you'll be fine.

Having issues with my disk usage shooting up to 100% constantly. Regretting not knowing more about computers, luckily I have you friends here to help me. I've google searched endlessly and tried all of the trouble shoots I've seen available.
None have worked, I'm to the point of doing a complete fresh install of Windows 10. (It's free, and I'm familiar with it, have never even seen Linux in person- yes we exist.)
Any ideas guys, or should I just do the complete fresh install?
Fairly certain it isn't malware, I've run Windows defender, malware bytes, and ccleaner.
Anyone out there experiencing the Windows 10 phenomena of 100% disk usage?

I have a basic question, how do I repeat the workflow of opening 2 tabs, copying a line or two of text from one tab to the other while switching between each other, in vim?
Most guides just explain the commands, not really how to do even slightly advanced stuff.

haven't bought a motherboard in pretty much around 10 years, and back then MSI was synonymous with solid build, quality and efficience. They were the "professional grade" tier of motherboards, built to last.

Hey /g/ quick question about ports.
Assuming the following is true:
A port is pretty much just an address a process is listening for incoming traffic on.
If you set up a server nothing is forcing you to use any specific port even though standards suggest you use certain ports like 80 for http.
If I set up a FTP server and set it to listen on port 80 instead of 21,
Could I connect to it and use it as an FTP server over port 80 if I was behind a router that blocks all ports but 80?
