I'm in the market for a new router.

However, The government has been intercepting internet hardware in the mail and implanting hardware that gives them a backdoor to the equipment.

Which router should I buy that will actually be private? Which routers are actually sucure these days?
Which brand names should I avoid?

Are you Glenn Greenwald or in any doing something that would make you a target?

No?

Then don't fucking worry about it. They don't have factories set up to perform this. They do it for targeted companies and individuals.

/g/, /pol/ is completely retarded. someone needs to go over there right now and explain how google works

>/pol/ won't stop posting the same meme all week
>someone types the first part of it in google
>"W-WHA GOOGLE KNOWS MEMES!"

I've tried explaining that google takes into account that your IP is on both 4chan and google servers, so the only reason why everyone in the thread sees the same search result is because they're all in the same search group.

Write an emulator for some 8 bit CPU or maybe even a whole computer/console from the 80s.
It's more than half an hour but in my experience people notice that the most often. And it's not that hard.

What happened to parallel buses 13 years ago is happening to x86 now. Just like parallel buses hit a wall and serial ones eventually caught up, RISC CPU architectures like MIPS and ARM are catching up with x86 now and will soon supplant it.

somewhere in the distant future
>>
>>53559389

If by distant you mean a couple of years, yeah.

I already don't have a single x86 device, and some of my SMB customers don't either.
>>
>>53559379
Risc isn't what made arm popular, it was their high power efficiency, which was made possible by risc.

The problem is, to develop compute power parity with x86 on risc requires much higher clock speeds, more complex pipelines and branch prediction, and when you add all these things, you end up with a processor no more advantageous than x86.

Risc is great at low power, low compute applications, but it does not scale to modern high performance desktop or server compute and remain competitive

What did they mean by this?

>>
>>53559000
They meant that the program they make "Microsoft SQL Server", which was previously exclusive to windows, is now available for linux.
>>
>>53559059
Well, it was based on Sybase's SQL server anyway, so porting it probably required next to nothing.

Hello—

We’re happy to announce that our latest MBAM patch release, MBAM 2.2.1.1043, was released today.

You may download MBAM 2.2.1.1043 from this link.

We’ll be enabling automatic upgrades for current users beginning next week. If you’d like to upgrade before then, simply download the new version from the link above and install.

Here's the full list of What’s New in v. 2.2.1--

Improvements:

Context Menu scanning option is now enabled by default. Note if you had this option disabled previously and want to retain that setting, you must disable again manually this one time only. Future updates will retain the setting properly
Improved renewal experience for those who purchased in retail store so that the original license key is retained post-renewal instead of requiring that a new key be entered and activated
Improved End of Trial experience so it is clear that trial has expired and real-time protection is no longer available
Added additional license checks to ensure subscription details are updated as quickly as possible after a renewal is processed
Updated company and product logos with new logo
For Premium subscription licenses, removed Renew button from My Account screen to avoid confusion over license term

Issues Fixed:

Fixed security vulnerability to ensure database updates are downloaded over SSL connections only
Fixed crash that occurred if Dell Backup and Recovery software was installed on same system
Fixed issue where scheduled scan did not honor weekly recurrence properly
Fixed issue where license expiration notices were incorrectly displaying multiple times in rapid succession
Fixed issue where the Scheduler would continue to run in certain cases after a trial had expired
Fixed issue where the update progress bar on the Dashboard would appear to hang and would never complete

Please post any feedback you have in our main Help forum here.

Put the Motherboard on there as a last minute placeholder, won't be buying Processor, Motherboard, or GPU until May at the earliest.

Any and all advice is appreciated. Is it safe to daisy chain the exhaust fan with a fan for the bottom half of the case?
