Oh the hate for Vivaldi... And in the meantime it gets more and more features while Firefox is losing more and more.
Bashing Vivaldi is the Firefox fanboy's only argument, otherwise they would have to admit that Mozilla turns the browser more and more in an almost Chrome clone.

Would Samsung win with its superior ability to manufacture custom curved OLED modules for VR headsets?
This is far too soon for anyone to claim superiority. VR is still small and a ton of companies are doing research.
Maybe Apple brings out a VR headsets and normies eat it up like the shit they're used to. Or any other companies invent better ways like retina beaming or whatever is possible. We won't know for a few years.

I don't hate Apple. It's not like they're making bad products. It's just that they might promote bad ideas about technology. But they do tend to innovate. Or at least make interesting, but overlooked technology mainstream. I don't really have anything to live for besides things I can do on my computer, so I think they're doing the right thing by innovating and make companies with less market share produce the niche products I like.
I've been using two Western Digital media players since at least 2010. I originally went with it because it supported the large harddrives I directly connected to it. That's been irrelevant for several years because I stream it all from my computer.
The original model is still trucking in the bedroom but the flakey WDTV Live in the living room one finally gave up the ghost.
Any recommendations? Just looking for something to stream media from network shares or a media server.

Guys, technology doesn't give me fun anymore.
I got a nice thinkpad, home server(s), desktop computer with LTO tape drive, UMPC, two smartphones, raspberry pis, even a nokia n900. I got lots of resources.
But for the love of God I don't know what to do with all this shit anymore. I'm tired of gayming and trying to make use of home servers. It's all so pointless. Should I sell everything and save the money?

Quakeworld, Quake3 and derivatives (if you want stuff like textures etc to be Free too, get Warsow, almost all their assets are released under CC). Also happen to be the best games ever made, so you don't need any other. Win-win
