So, /g/. I have a baby coming any minute. Little fucker could be here today. I've been a weed smoker for the last couple of years, and I've been working in nursing homes for the last 10. I think it's time to give up the weed and focus on programming so I can give this kid a better future. Give myself a better future.

I just want a general "This is why I changed my shit for the better" thread. /g/ is the most goal-minded board I've visited in my time here, though I rarely post. Anytime I need reassurance that I'm on the right track, I pop in here. Not for questions, but because I like the perseverance of this board.

Built a computer for a coworker this morning. When I asked them what OS they want between W7 and W10 they said "surprise me". Which to me comes off as a general statement. What should I install for their OS, /g/?

Id say a strong, cheap compound/alloy needed to support its frame. Carbon fiber would be nice but too expensive. I think at this point the electronics/CPU/software/motors are all feasible, just not the physical aspect itself for consumer-grade purchasing

How do I create proper symlinks with a bash script?
I'm trying to get my config files linked to my repo, but if I use relative location it doesn't work, how would I do full path symlinks to the repo's files?
The install script is in the root of the repo btw.
