got a old ibm pc with a empty hdd
got no spare hdd so i got to install windows on it but the bios doesnt let me change the boot order (bios probably 2000s years)
for a bios upgrade i need to use a floppy and if i want to install windows on the hdd i need to do it on another pc

doing the bios upgrade is probably your best bet. you can buy a usb floppy drive that will work on a modern pc and a couple of disks pretty cheap on amazon
you should also look into installing linux on that thing.

You're doing it wrong. You can change the boot order in the BIOS setup since the 386 days.

it depends on the application, if its something to no nigger rig something so it "works" ill just browser ebay or banggood. if its something that needs to be pristine (for a client or similar) ill just visit farnell/element14 or adafruit or similar stores near me/my-area. amazon is for schmucks anyway

I'm developing a fantasy 4chan stock exchange codenamed Meme Exchange (memex) for now.
The idea is that you create an account and you get given 1000 fake dollars. You can use this to invest in boards and potentially memes.
I will have scripts running on the server analyzing each board every hour and automatically assigning value to the stocks based on a long list of factors including but not limited to: number of threads per hour, posts per hour, number of posters per thread, average thread lifetime, and so on and so on.
