How much bandwidth do you use, anon ?
How is life with a data cap ?
at home i around 500gb per month.
but i have a seedbox for uploading, otherwise my traffic would be higher. no datacap.
on my phone i use 4gb per month, i set it to disable the internet once i hit the cap.
what are you doing with 2.5tb of data every month, op? just movies and stuff or actual work?
>>55219327
Everything. I have a reasonably fast connection, so I host my own cloud service, seed all my torrents off my home connection, stream movies, work, and the list goes on.
I've been thinking about ditching my VPS and moving my webserver to my home connection too, but I'm thinking I should probably get a dedicated machine of some sort for that. Maybe a NUC.
>>55219415
>moving my webserver to my home connection
madman
i'm still browsing with a 16mbit connection, i feel like i'd use a lot more traffic if i had a faster connection. hd movies for example. i have enough storage, but with a connection this slow i can't justify downloading 20gb for a single movie.
How do I get into android development? It's pretty overwhelming desu

A restaurant app, like a list layout where each activity points to different information: coupons, location, menu, etc.
Who else /steghide/ stuff in all their images here?
>>55219221
I don't because I don't have a reason to do so. Why do you?

For fun and to make people paranoid to think that there might be something else in their images.

Hey /g/ I have a question...
How could someone hack an email and password, and then use that to find out other emails accounts connected to the first one.
Like say if I foolishly emailed someone and they replied back, but sent the message to another email account of mine?
No reason... Just curious... :/
your scenario doesnt even make sense.
so "hacking" is way over your head.
>>55219224
Ok, but that's what just happened to me...
I got an email with my real name and email account password. From a different account from the one I originally used...
>>55219224
Also, should I be worried?
Why does MS Access even exist?
>2 gb limit on database
Winbaby version of sqlite. When you want more than a spreadsheet or json file but less than a fully fledged RDBMS.
The limit applies to a single database file. It is possible to split your >2gb db to smaller ones.
Nevertheless, it is as >>55219249 said.
>>55219249
But SQLite is much superior
>Go to doctor's office
>Computer is running windows, is unattended and left with patients Alone
>Someone could very easily install malware and fuck with relatively important shit or install ransomware or something
What the fuck?
Why does this occur... I don't feel safe anymore
>>55219150
it happens because doctors are busy being doctors and not fucking around on computer
>at my office
>patient comes in scratching pustules on his face, later shakes my hand
>tells me he thinks he has an infection he looked up on WebMB, when it's clearly just the result of him not washing his face enough.
What the fuck?
Why does this occur... I don't feel safe anymore.

Can I just use GNU without Linux?
Yes. It's pretty terrible though.

OSX/BSD coreutils suck.

>hacked
friendly reminder that these arent "hackers"
hackers are those that are playfully clever when they are programming. what they are doing is referred to as "cracking".

Most processors run at or around 1.5v though.

ok guys it's been a while since i research about it and i need an update i'm a laptop user, and now i ill return to the desktop computer so i need some advice about it
>>55218498
>not using VIA
If you want a laptop solely for desktop and never intend to use it for vidya, then Intel.
If you want it for light gaming get a laptop with a AMD apu, not sure of the models, but other anons will be able to link you to the latest chips

Hi /g/.
I'm a novice sysadmin and I've been assigned to migrate our medium sized mail server to IceWarp.
Should I go with Windows or Linux? If Linux, which distro? Being in a large corporation I can ask for almost any hardware and other software I want. Thanks.
>>55218419
>icewarp
>not postfix+dovecot+spamd
>>55218484
I would have probably gone with that, but we already had the enterprise license before I started working here and they were planning for it for a long time now.

I guess you can do worse but seriously these people learned what they know about programming from second or third-hand accounts. It's about as relatable as going "Us gamers amright?!? Mountain dew doritos 360 noscope"

I am looking into C and Python. But some assistance would be much appreciated.

You're better off with Youtube or Udemy.
