Arch is objectively the best GNU/Linux distribution if you know how to use it.
Im still using Windows 7 Ultimate and it works like a charm

No, because it's shit.
I used it for a month. Windows update broke the start menu and boot manager during that time. There is no reason to use Win10 other than DirectX12 and nothing is using that yet.

Fucking hell. The PC doesnt even have to be restarted now. This thing can install whenever it feels like it.
All it takes is for you to not pay attention to the update roster and almost no one does.
What's worse is that it's put the WindowsBT folder on my HDD too. That thing is an absolute cunt to delete.
That Windows 10 update shit bricked my development and test VM.

What does /g/ think about Architect? I tried it in a VM to get some experience with installing arch in general, and it simplifies the process without severely limiting your choices. Just look at a guide for tips and you’ll be fine.

I just spent a semester learning how to program in Assembly and have no idea what the practical applications are.
What projects are beginner level and put assembly to good use?
You can learn to do buffer overflows and stuff, if you want to learn check out Jon Erickson's book. Beyond that, there's really no application I've ever used. Even something low level like an OS is by far mostly written in a higher level language. In fact that's why C was invented.
there isnt much application to actually program in that, you use it for disassembly and debuggers for analyzing other programs
