What are some text based websites that can teach me about computers (their components, how software works, what each piece of hardware is for, etc)?
I have trouble following along to what people are saying and thinking about what they said at the same time, so videos aren't very helpful for me.

Wikipedia and google are pretty text based.

Textfiles.com is also pretty tech/text oriented...

Hi /g/,

Looking for a wireless router to meet my needs. I'm moving into a new house that's 6,500sqft and I have already had the cable guy run the coaxial almost to the exact center of the house.

Problem I have is finding a powerful router (I have a home office that I work out of at night) that can handle multiple laptops/tablets/smart house systems. I need a system that can reach all ends of the house since I don't want to run wires to each point of interest.

So far I've only been able to find this pigfag router but nobody has really tested these Triband tank routers in the kinds of conditions I'm going to be using them (I guess since they are still new).

What is your guy's opinion?

TL;DR I need a wifi router that can reach everywhere in a 6,500sqft home.

I'm looking to spend around $400-$600

>>
>>52528693
Seriously I cant find anything about the range of the router
>>
Why not just get a bunch of WiFi extenders or repeaters?

Why would i get a GTX 970 instead of an r9 if i dont care about power consomption?

Why waste everyone's time with this shit thread when you can just shut the fuck up and buy a 390 already.
>>
>>52528646
Answer the question.
>>
>>52528684
390 is the better option.

The only reason to use Tor if your too much of an autist to buy drugs in person or if you want CP.

Prove me wrong.

>typical yuropoor thinking.

To be honest, you have way less freedoms in Yuropooria, so you should also embrace tor.

so, what's the point of using this stuff and not using RAID powered backup servers?

What.
You can always move your backups to an external hdd. Nobody forces you to keep everything only in RAID array.

Has anyone made a worthy successor to this piece of shit? I like the idea of a device with 100 GB+ storage and decent battery life and audio playback quality but the second hand market for these is utterly retarded and I'd rather not have to deal with the cancer that is iTunes.

Anyone know of any good windows Alarm programs? Something that's lite and can use music files for alarms? I keep turning off my alarm and not waking up as of late, and I think I could use something new.
