Trying to generate simple html image thumbnails from a long list of links. Is there a find and replace tool that would make it easier? word? excel even?

well, for some stupid reason I couldn't find a single generator that could do more than one at a time, so I ripped this one http://www.textfixer.com/html/convert-url-to-html-link.php and edited it to fit my needs....
>>55485395
can't you program something yourself?
it's not that hard
i'd even do it for you, but I have to go to sleep now, it's really late where I live
>>55485395
just use any stream editor
on unix systems there's sed, with which you can just replace any regular expression with an entered string.
since you're apparently on windows, you'll have to look around for a proprietary alternative to this.
Anyone on here use one of these for day-to-day use?
I used to use an older model at my highschool several years ago and I really enjoyed it.
Now I am considering the 5k 27" model, but I was just wondering if it's actually worth the price. Do any of you use it and can you justify the price tag?
Wait until September to see if they're going to be refreshed
>>55485360
This. They wont be, the MacbookPro probably will.
>>55485347
I had one (first generation 5k) that I sold to a family member. My personal preference would be for a rMBP plus a nice 4k monitor. iMacs are basically laptop components on the inside, so unless you're looking for the whole "only 1 cord" thing, it's not really worth it.
question for BSD/Linux fags
how can you find out if a program was compiled against the OpenSSL or LibreSSL library?
NTPD for example: when i do
> # ldd /usr/local/sbin/ntpd
it shows
> libssl.so.38 => /usr/local/lib/libssl.so.38
is that LibreSSL or OpenSSL?
>>55485319
that's a pretty good question
chances are it's using the one on your system included with your distro
Why does BSD hate graphic design so much
>>55485987
why do /foss projects/ hate graphic design
oh i know: they don't have photoshop, illustrator and sketch
What the fuck google!? How long has this been a thing?
>bawwwwwwwwwwwww why can't a for-profit company with petabytes of traffic per month in network costs provide me with content for free without advertisements???
fuck off child
>>55485324
Bawwww I never said it was unacceptable. I'm fine with advertisements, but surveys are an entirely different annoyance. And just because it's free doesn't mean I am not entitled yo voice my opinion on the service and vote with my feet you child.
I'm sure it's to make people want to buy a subscription to YouTube red, ads have been more and more intrusive being put in the middle of videos, and it's getting on my nerves since I mainly watch YouTube on my phone and haven't been able to find a way to block ads on it.

Is my phone definitely fucked?
>It's a Z3, and the screen was quite mucky so I made sure all the tabs were closed, did one of those pressure sensor tests; all was good. Gave it a quick clean under a cold tap, probably around 30-40 seconds. And it worked fine after, chucked it on my bed and came back to it a few hours later and it won't turn on and the notification light just blinks red...
Based on what the lens looks like, doesn't look good :((((
I had this problem before, and yes your phone is basically fucked.
Take it to the service center, or you can fix it yourself.

>Gave it a quick clean under a cold tap, probably around 30-40 seconds
30-40 seconds isn't quick lol.

Are you retarded?
You're thinking of rm -rf /
Which needs sudo because you're deleting the root partition/folders
rm doesn't need any extra permissions on regular files that your user is allowed to access like your own home directory.
Otherwise shit like your file manager wouldn't be able to delete files.
Literally your own fault for being an idiot
lmao
>>55485189
no shit lol
Speecy Thread!
Rate others if you can.

Why are gaming monitors so shit and plagued with QC issues? Why is it still so hard in 2016 to make a panel with negligible input, no QC issues, and no motion blur. Every low motion blur monitor as of right now suffers from added latency and fucked up colors/brightness,

>gaymen anything

I wonder.
Speaking of monitors, can /g/ recommend a good monitor? Something in the range of 100~400 dollars, nothing fancy, but a good value. Looking to buy from amazon or possibly newegg.
What did YOU do today to fight the botnet?
I wrote this response using Microsoft Edge, on Windows 10. while texting back a buddy on my iPhone, all while setting up my new iMac.
Freecucks, come at me.

How did you put the TM beside Samsung?
Has /g/ accepted the best in cell service yet?
I have.
Um, why would I subject myself to the greater of bonnets?
I use it. I like it for the most part, but I always feel guilty using data since you pay for each 100 mb you use.
If there was a cheap unlimited option it would be the best shit ever.
>>55484704
I just started using it too. Liking it so far. Had better service with Verizon, but I was also paying 100, so fuck that.
> Windows just works
> Classpnp.sys boot hang
> "The issue I see is that a lot of the computers that are reporting this issue are not able to actually boot through to a system repair on the disc. This seems like an amazing failing by the Windows 7 system. As far as I can tell computers that experience this issue are unrepairable. No one seems to have a fix to this problem that actually works."
It's just one thing after another with this bloatware, when will this...

I wonder if this is to do with Windows crippling their OS to force people to upgrade? That'd be pretty funny....

What you've just done is a felony. Enjoy your stay in prison OP. I just contacted the authorities so please don't try to run anywhere, this will only make things worse for you.
What the fuck did you just fucking say about me, you little bitch? I’ll have you know I graduated top of my class in the Navy Seals, and I’ve been involved in numerous secret raids on Al-Quaeda, and I have over 300 confirmed kills. I am trained in gorilla warfare and I’m the top sniper in the entire US armed forces. You are nothing to me but just another target. I will wipe you the fuck out with precision the likes of which has never been seen before on this Earth, mark my fucking words. You think you can get away with saying that shit to me over the Internet? Think again,...
