Im pretty sure that won't do anything. You need to either take air from outside the case and blow it in or take air from inside the case and blow it out.

Minor problem of a metal plate in the way.
Try putting it the spot specially designed for a fan, with a grate to let air in/out, and screw holes to hold it.

Is it possible to get low latency when using virtualization? I want to use FL studio, but wine doesn't work all that great. Using Bitwig Studio right now, but it doesn't hold s candle to FL Studios piano roll. Would something like qemu help me with low latency? I don't know too much about virtualization.

I never tried Bitwig, but if its piano roll and midi functionality is like the one in Ableton, then I had the same issue when I first switched to Live from FL, and got used to it in no time.

In the beginning I thought Ableton was just inferior, but then I realized that it actually has the same functionalities and more, but it works differently, since you manipulate midi data with midi devices (which are basically midi effects you place before your instruments) instead of inside the piano roll itself.
It's a different kind of workflow and I used both in my first months, but now that I got used to it, I just use Ableton's and never even open FL.

I imagine Bitwig is not different (or even superior, due to its superior native modulation capabilities).
>>
No it's not possible. If you're not running natively you'll get delay guaranteed. Even natively some daws run up to 5ms
>>

How long until I can power my house with solar power by spending less than 1.5k dollars on the installation?
11 posts and 2 images submitted.
>>
Never until solar panel installation becomes a profitable thing.
>>
>>55251879
Never, but the good news is that electricity prices will skyrocket if electric cars become a thing, so you should get a solar panel system before everyone else does.
>>
>>55251879
Never. The powers that be want you hooked to their power grid forever. They don't want you to be independent.

So if I understand correctly, the refresh rate will ultimately decide how many fps will be actually displayed. I.e.g a 60hz display will never display more than 60fps, even if the game or application outputs a higher fps.

Allegedly, 4K TVs claim to have refresh rates up to 240hz and beyond, but these are often enhancements after the fact to make the image appear smoother even if the actual refresh rate is lower. Some say they can not actually display more than 50-60hz at this point.

Then the question is, for someone who want a gaming setup with the smoothest experience and best framerate, is 4K gaming futile at this point? Should one stick with 1080p until displays reach 120hz of actual refresh rate?

Thoughts on refresh rate bottleneck please.

That's wrong. There is so much to fuck up. I would do it but it really takes time to set everything up. Even worse than ArchLinux.

It took me hald a day to setup everything and it has been working flawlessly for over 6 months with 2 .x updates already.
