Holy fuck, and I thought the reference cooler was edgy, does it also ship with a pack of razor blades or what?

Isn't the average pay in Australia insanely high too?
I remember reading an article which stated that the average miner there makes over $100k/year.

/g/

My 4 year old GPU died last night... (GTX 680)

I still have an i5-2500k, and play at 1920x1080. Right now I can't afford to upgrade to 1440p/4k, and I don't want to pay for an entire new build just yet.

What are my options? I was thinking the 980, but is that overkill? Any suggestions?

If you are playing 1080p get 960 or 970 when price drops.

I'm a fan of asswipe tubes. You can also use paper towel tubes and cut them to size for smaller or larger cords.

Why? I mean, most people could waste money like that, but for what realistic purpose other than to say 'Hey guys look I wasted money you're poor.'?

So what is the best way to implement a secure a windows install without enabling being a complete botnet cuck?

Don't suggest anvivirus meme, I am actually not a /v/ babby

So far I was thinking:
>Sand boxing mounted Flash drives
>Disabling auto run
>Highest UAC restriction
>Highest Firewall restriction
>Sand boxing firefox
>DNSSec
>Using a Non-admin account

Too bad windows has neither any role-based access control nor PaX equivalent.

I have been hearing a lot about running Ubuntu's firefox in Windows 10.

Is it somehow possible to let only THAT browser through to the Internet with firewall?

Also, is it actually possible to use the ReFS by default?

Give me a break. Only reason why people use BSD is because you're so hipster you find linux too mainstream.

I'm a gentoo linux user but one thing I'm envious of bsd is the userspace is built with the kernel, and not tacked on like the GNU userspace.

The only reason I use linux over bsd is better driver availability.

Is it a good idea to put my PC in my check-in baggage? I'm moving to another country for a while and I'd bring my PC with me.

Last time this happened I took it all apart, packed each part in bubble-wrap + antistatic bags, and put them carefully in my check-in baggage between clothes etc (minus harddrives, those went in my carry-on), then shipped my case separately with some shipping company because I had more personal stuff that I needed to send anyway.
This time I should have enough space in my suitcase to jam the whole case in without taking anything apart, but is that a good idea? I seems sturdy enough and the parts aren't loose, plus it'd have clothes and whatnot wrapped around it to absorb impact. I was thinking maybe to take out the graphics card and the heatsink at least since those seem most likely to shake around.

Employees can sometimes abuse it like crazy if it doesn't have fragile stickers on it. Probably best to do what you did before if you want to be absolutely sure nothing breaks. Otherwise your second plan seems like it would work well. Just put a lot of clothing to protect the case from bouncing around
>>
>>54767884
Just fill the inside of the computer with bubble wrap and mark it fragile.
>>
Take out your gpu and hard drive and carry then on

>In the simplest terms AMD has created a product that runs hotter and slower than its competition's new architecture by a potentially significant margin.

http://www.hardocp.com/article/2016/05/27/from_ati_to_amd_back_journey_in_futility#.V0hNFb4f30Q

I don't know whether to laugh or cry about it, this basically means they won't be putting up any competition against Nvidia, and we all know that isn't good.
