/g/, let's talk about Mutt.
I used to use isync/mbsync to fetch my imap folders but now I have to set everything up again and I wonder if there is a better alternative.
Tell me, /g/, what to you use to pull your mails on your computer and why did you chose this one?

I wanted to try mutt, but to many places suggested that is a bit dated. I'm using sup-mua and I'm happy as a
mutt
What advantages does it have over mutt?
I don't really want to install ruby on my computer...
>>
>>52433601
It feels more modern in the way you interact with it and the way you can extend it. I only had brief experience with mutt, so can't help you more.

What's the problem with ruby?

Seriously fuck my CS Java homework

>create an abstract class AbstractMachine
>extend Machine class to AbstractMachine
>extend Refrigerator class TO Machine class
>create a List with the type Machine to track different machines

What the fuck? So you are supposed to create a Machine object which creates and links an object to a refrigerator object?

What is the best way to learn python? Especially for someone who hasn't written a single line of code. Can anyone pass along some helpful websites or recommend any books? I was looking into pic related

Thanks.

Codecademy

Not even kidding....
>>
Read a book that has beginner or fundamentals in the title. then another one. then another one. if youre sick of it go watch youtube video series for beginner. then look for simple projects. code every day and youll get better eventually.

I would reccomend that you install sublime-text

From within sublime-text theres a add-on you can install called buildview

From here you can just start coding

Inside sublime-text make a file called test.py and inside it write

print "hello world"

Hit ctrl-b and a new tab should open named Build output that contains the text 'hello world'

Start practicing what you think is simple and fun and youll learn quickly
Learn boolean expressiona like 'if()' and while-loops

Any recommendations for small mATX cases? Ideally needs to be able to fit an average size GPU and a H100i. I've been eyeing up the corsair air 240, but it still looks a little big for what I'm after.

>>
Maybe take a look at the bitfenix phenom/prodigy/whathaveyou mATX versions. They're pretty small and can propably fit your specs but they have the inverted mobo shit.
>>
The 240 is complete shit. Very poor build quality, zero noise isolation, some stupid design choices and almost no width clearance for aftermarket GPU coolers.

I pre-ordered it based on good reviews, used it for five months and binned it. Moved to a Phanteks Enthoo Evolv (another big ITX case) and I love it.

Neither are really what you're after, though. Even the bitfenix cases on their mITX platform mentioned above are big. If you really want small, go with either Lian Li or Silverstone.
>>
>>52433277
Also worth giving EVGAs Hadron cases a look if you're after something different (but still tiny)

My family has been jobless since 2008 and we've lived decently till now because my dad used to make a lot of money and he invested everything he made in gold in early 2000s.
Too bad we only have around 6k€ in gold left. Oh well I guess that living under bridges was inevitable afterall...

Investing in gold was really a good choice anyway.

Knowing how to program helps a lot.
You learn 1 language, you've learned them all.
The only difference is their syntax and their particular paradigm quirks.
For example, some force you to adopt an object-oriented style and others will force you to abuse language features to recreate that object-oriented functionality.

sounds like all it does is put data from arbitrary files into the video data, which means at best it could be used to copy files from the 4chan servers.
