When Portage updates crap on the PC, does it rebuild all the crap from scratch, or does it patch the existing sources on the hard drive and rebuild just the changed files?

Neon or Led?
I just got a new case. I have a red/black color scheme inside so I want some extra red lightning. I was wondering how I could do this. I have 6 fans total, 2 of which with blue leds and 4 without leds. I maybe still have a red neon bar laying around but i'm not sure. I was wondering what would be better? Neon or Led?

I'm really stuck on this circuit I'm trying to build to heat and cool a block. The thermal blocks heats and cool based on whether I apply a +12/-12V at each of its inputs and I have to swap them manually to invert the heating/cooling function.
I was thinking of using an Arduino that sends a Digital signal to a multiplexer to convert the voltage whenever I reach a certain temperature.
So when I am at 60c, I want to heat, and at 95C I want to cool and cycle back and forth. I want to swap the voltages but I'm not sure if I can do this with a multiplexer. Can someone help me out since I'm not great at this?

My computer still holds up I guess. CPU is @ 3.5ghz btw. Dunno about GPU but I can probably still OC the GPU even more.
I just got a new case so I was testing I guess.
Temps are alright, CPU about 60 and GPU about 70.
So I guess I can still OC the GPU a bit more?

that's a really bad idea, as your motherboard is going to spurg out and spike your CPU, you might want to find out what your maximum stable voltage is with your clockspeed

you're about to seriously waste some cash. Just build it yourself man, order everything online, make sure it arrives the same day, and put it together in maybe 2 hours. It's really not that much more time than it takes to set up a prebuilt anyway, you still have to install your programs/alternate OS/set up peripherals regardless.
