Ok /g/ what is the best mechanical keyboard less than 200 usd. I plan on buying the K95 RGB but i don't know if there is better stuff out there
>>52070813
I'd recommend a dragon dildo
>>52070813

>>52070813

The drivers work.
I won't look like a cheap weeb

Hey guys, some of us like having these threads, and post-christmas we might get more of them after our mummy and daddies gave us some spending money.
Personally, I'm going to blow my wad on a CAD/Revit/Photoshop computer for school.
Is this any good?
http://pcpartpicker.com/p/Bmwzt6
I haven't built a computer since 9th grade, and that guys still running with an Athlon x2.
Some of my "design philosophy" is that I want to be able to upgrade easily later down the line. I figure new data drives, RAM, and GPUs are all easy to grab off craigs and hot swap in and out.
My big question is whether programs like revit would benefit to having 8-cores or is 4 just fine. I could opt for a haswell i7 at the same price as the skylake i5.
What is that I want it.

Little endian is retarded
You write a three-thousand four-hundred sixty-nine as 3469 not as 6934
Prove me wrong
>>52069732
Most modern architectures support both formats anyway.
>>52069758
That's bad though
Little-endian support leads to dumb people using litte-endian instead of superior big endian

It literally does not matter.
So i got a "lexibook tv game console" (i couldnt find any serial no whatsoever on the package or device) for x-mas by far relatives. It has some pretty shit games n stuff. It comes with two NES-like IR controllers and a 4 GB sdcard preloaded with games. I was wondering if i could port some games (quake / doom / a nes emulator) to it. I copied two games (Gold Digger & Calculator) from the sdcard and disassembled with ida pro as they had ELF headers. it said it is s+core architecture (32bit), and it had some debugging symbols (pic related). It also had some system-like binary on it (but maybe it is just a menu and every game is like an OS). I can share the files if you want me to. Can anyone help me find some resources for data sheets or an ide or a compiler for this? Also suggestions on what can i use it for?
the knowledge you seek is probably too specialized for /g/. Try other specific reverse-engineering hobby forum for better success.
>>52069607
Read: /g/ is really only for shitposting and bragging about consumer tech
>>52069624
And discussing waifus
sup /g/. i decided to put together the best machine for as cheap as i could for gaming. i figured i would run my plan by /b/ and see what yall think.
so i was inspired by this video.
https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=epIlB49SNTI [Embed]
in this video the used a server board to run two intel xeon quad core 2.4ghz cpus with some ddr2 ram and a decent graphics card and they were pulling pretty impressive performance with that set up.
theres a lot to be left lacking there so i ordered a better motherboard with ddr3 ram and pci express 2 with the same cpu socket.
http://www.ebay.com/itm/SuperMicro-Dual-Socket-LGA1366-Motherboard-X8DTT-F-SG007-Rev-2-/361450812379?
but i ordered better processors. the best i could find on the cheap were xeon w3550s with a speed of 3.0ghz.
i paid 45 for the board and 20 for each processor.http://www.amazon.com/gp/product/B0161S90ZU?psc=1&redirect=true&ref_=ox_sc_act_title_6&smid=A1PI1UGZBZUSUA
i also bought a gpu
XFX R7 250 1050MHz 2GB DDR3 Low Profile Ready Radeon R7
from a friend of mine who works at computer shop. they were going to trash it because the paint on it was kinda flaky so i got it for $20.
so im in this build $115 so far and i have my
motherboard
2x xeon w3550 3.06ghz cpus
and a decent gpu. how am i doing?
>>52069479
You fucked up on the R7.
Get something better that uses HBM or GDDR5
>>52069495
>>52069495
hats a given but for 20$ i couldn't pass it up. itll be pretty high on the upgrade list.
>>52069590
Ok as for ram you will have to go ecc since your have a supermicro just look up the compatibilty list and look for cheap ram.
Adblocker blocking scripts are just one step away from view-to-access. Prove me wrong.
>>52069460
I'm fine with not accessing it if they insist on serving malicious privacy harming tracker adverts.
I'll get the info elsewhere.
>>52069460
wtf is view to access, you mean pay to access?
when i see that i disable my adblocker, and manually block ads with noscript
git gud
and if that doesnt work then i just dont use the site, unless the ads are non intrusive
How's that Windows phone treating you /g/?
>>52069420
Great, thanks for asking.
>>52069420
Pretty good. Lumia 640.
I love it so far, rocking a lumia 535 with win10

@gorhill gorhill released this 6 hours ago
New:
Ability to inject script resource from the resource library directly into a page -- i.e. not through redirection. Can be used to defeat some otherwise hard to defeat ad injection mechanisms on some sites. More specifically, this allows to defeat AdDefend- or Yavli-based ads on many sites (as of writing), which so far were defeated only through inline script tag filtering -- so this means that now Chromium-based browsers can also bypass AdDefend/Yavli (for example, see #1100). Some documentation available here (will eventually create a dedicated page).
Enabling advanced user mode won't cause the tooltips to be disabled anymore. There is now a separate setting for tooltips in the Settings pane: "Disable tooltips". Tooltips are enabled by default.
Closed as fixed:
Chromium:
uBlock crashes on browser startup if Chromium is compiled without webrtc
Solution contributed by @Eloston.
Core:
[Logger] Cannot reverse find a specific filter
On a site with 0 connections displayed
[Efficiency] Make use of String.prototype.startsWith
no-popups: * true rule blocks opening of a clicked url
[static filter syntax] separator characters (^) support
Use case: does an advanced user still need tooltips?

http://www.cpubenchmark.net/cpu.php?cpu=Intel+Xeon+E3-1230+v3+%40+3.30GHz
It is a fair price but maybe around the same price to performance as 6600-6700k where those are better options because you can overclock them and not a xeon.
