It's not out yet. Besides,
>can have

Doesn't nean it's going to happen.

As is Intel, and many others. These are multi-national conglomerates that have all manner of stations in every corner of the world, from marketing to R&D to manufacturing and distribution. They are chinks, spics, niggers, jews, gondola, nazis, pajeets, dindus and everything in between. What's your point?
Hey Windowsfags...
If Linux is so bad according to you, why does Microsoft love it, according to their CEO?
Why did Microsoft build their own Linux distro, if Windows is better?
And why are they trying to build Linux compatibility into Windows 10 now?
https://thehackernews.com/2016/02/windows10-linux-subsystem.html
Isn't it time you just admitted that Linux is the future and switched to the real thing, rather than waiting for Microsoft to switch you to it anyway?
>>52916364
It means that they are trying to take over linux and make it a botnet too.

What are you working on, /g/?
Why don't I want to do anything? I miss working on projects.

start a new project or revisit an old one so you have something to do

Isn't ssl more resource expensive?
>>52915793
Encryption costs system resources, and a lot of sites are already nearly overloaded with requests.
firefox nightly warns you about unsecure password forms and disables them, it will eventually get into stable

Then I suggest you switch to BSD.

If you are serious about switching to Linux, use it exclusively for 2 weeks.
Avoid booting to windows for that period of time, or you are likely to start retreating back to it instead of getting used to linux as your new home and working on making it feel comfortable
You can safely experience installation process and the basic usage through a virtual machine

I can't be the only one who laughed at this retard's post. obviously he's joking but it's just still funny.

I don't understand what's so funny on that. Now every single hacker can just look at the code and easily spot vulnerabilities which would grant them access to millions of computers and servers. Even though I never pass out on any opportunity to laugh at the linuxtards, this affects all of us.
>he fell for the tablet meme
What's the point? It's just a laptop with less functionality, worse performance, no keyboard, 1 or no USB ports, etc. etc.
Because sometimes I want to watch netflix on a personal TV screen without bringing my laptop out or killing my phone battery.
>>52912646
there is no point unless you watch media on it
or if you are 10 years old and play games on it
>>52912667
That sounds terrible. Why not download a proper BR rip and play it through your HD TV with a proper sound system?
Shitty website stories? I have one that I experienced last weekend.

Would you recommend this gaming laptop? It fits my $1000 budget pretty well and I wanted to know if this is the best deal for under $1000
Note, I don't care if you like Intel or AMD
I know it's only a 960m, I can't spend too much
I know a PC would probably be cheaper, but I'm on the move a lot and a Laptop just fits my life better.
I already spent $2,300 on Amazon for 2 of these, 2 cooling pads (I know they are shit but I need to keep the dust out and other crap) and the warranties, before it ships in the morning I was wondering your opinion, anon.
Oh shit my bad, it's this one
www.amazon.com/gp/product/B017LEKKQ6?psc=1&redirect=true&ref_=oh_aui_detailpage_o02_s00
Hey anon
I got this lenovo y50-70 and it's pretty good, maybe you'll find it better choice
I think I may have an older version of this laptop. I bought it refurbished in 2013 for $900. It is still going strong. I only had to reimage the machine once (late 2015) to get the sluggish performace to go away, but other than that it has been a great machine and I cannot complain.
mine has a 660m + i73610QM

It's a real shame that many people think that way, but there are some that don't. We must educate the ignorant populace as to why that line of thought is wrong.
