Hi /g/, I'm here because of my little brother. The little bastard got an iPad from his school, supposedly for homework, but always ends up with him up all night playing games.
The thing is, I've tried restricting it with the built in options, but he either comes up with some stupid excuse for me to remove the restrictions. (Technologically challenged parents)
Now to the main question, is the a way for me to make the iPad, basically, unusable after a certain time of day? Like make it lock after 9pm?
(Google didn't really help, and most apple users seem to have a stick up their ass.)

The problem is that he is up to 4-5am on school nights, sneaking out of his room to take the ipad. My parents try to stop this, but they are against locking the ipad in a safe or cabin, as he "needs it early for school"

Intended for users of all levels, including absolute beginners.
There are three ways to try Linux, you can:
1) Install a Linux OS on a VM (Virtual Machine/VirtualBox) for "safety purposes"
2) Use the Live ISO directly without installing anything, that way, you can get a "full Linux experience".
3) Go balls deep and overwrite everything with Linux (not recommended)
If you are serious about switching to Linux and if you have Windows dual-booted (recommended for pure newbies), we recommend you use it exclusively for 2 weeks, and avoid Windows dual booting for that period of time, or it's likely you will start retreating back to windows instead of getting used to Linux as your new home and working onnmaking it feel the way you want it.

Because the spread of these was generally limited to before the era of instantaneous, immediate communication and co-operation, on a mostly ad-hoc basis.
There's no real need to do anything about it, either, given that adapters are simple, known technology; and with the advent of globalisation you can generally get anything you need locally anyway.
