I knew there would be gains for AMD with DX12, but trumping a Titan X by even a few FPS, given the huge price difference, makes choosing which card to buy that much easier.

Also, why buy a Titan X when a 980ti is practically identical in performance.

Recently I've gotten back into penetration testing, mainly with Metasploitable 2, rooted Android and Pentoo. The reason I like to encourage people into running pentests is because if you souly rely on intrusion detection software such as Snort then you're making a big mistake. Penetration testing is fun, and of course everyone knows fun rules.

Recommend me a free/gratis Windows program that backs up files from one folder to another (basically "matching" them), if something is deleted on one end, it's also deleted on the other end.

Even better if it was encrypted, but not necessary.

I don't need incremental backups or shit like that. I just want a more or less recent backup in case my hard drive dies.

CSS beginner here with some questions.

Do the majority of sites today still used float-based layouts? Is it recommended to still use this technique?

Should one use flexbox/grid already?

Why is MIT's open courseware so impossibly hard?

Do you really need to have some talent to be good in CS?

Everything I had to learn in maths from high school to college (shitty, a little above high school tier maths) I already forgot. I simply never fully understood it. I was looking through some first-year MIT calculus course and I can't really understand even that. Derivations, integrals... I just learned formulas and managed to pass. Never succeeded in understanding it.
