>/g/ is paranoid about botnets, muh privacy

>uses Android

Seriously im starting to doubt all this anti-botnet stuff. Im starting to think the privacy stuff is blown out of proportion. If you use google or Android google knows a lot about you so MS doing the same thing in Windows doesn't bother me. I fell for the linux meme for privacy but its only really useful for shitposting, ricing, and servers.

Just explain why the paranoia on privacy, its unnecessary unless you have something to hide. And i know thats a meme /g/ likes to make fun of but like i said im starting to doubt anti privacy. The freetard way of living is not viable.

Why is is so hard for the case manufacturers to mark these properly?

>wrong cable colors
>wrong orientation arrows
>half the cables have their label on bottom, half on top when connected properly

Am I just buying wrong cases or what? Also I never bought one that had them joined into one big connector so you dont have to think about it at all. Only saw those posted here on 100€+ cases.

When I encounter it being wrongly marked or with all cable colors black so you cant tell by those I just connect pwr and reset randomly since the orientation doesnt matter anyways on those and dont connect the stupid leds (too bright anyways most of the time)

Why is this thing stuck in the 80s ?

I just picked up an XF270HU, I personally love the monitor, 144hz is definitely not a meme. Why haven't you joined the master race yet.
93 posts and 6 images submitted.
>>
>>54338521
The only bad thing about 144hz is that you will never be able to use a 60hz monitor again
>>
>>54338521
Because I'm not a poorfag that would buy a monitor without hardware calibration capability. Or anything Acer for that matter.

by fully cracked i mean the botnet thing
>>
>>54337673
>>54337678
No.
>>
>>54337678
No. It's an inherent, built-in part of the OS in W10. The network stack is written to bypass the hosts file when talking to MS so that you can't block their servers. Think about that.

If you have to run Windows (you probably don't), run 7, because the botnet was a tacked-on-after-the-fact addition to 7, and you can avoid it by remembering to not install certain updates.
