Windows update quality control at it again. Don't install kb3097877 yet, it's definitey faulty. Causes problems with windows login, sidebar gadgets, outlook, teamviewer and other applications.

If you are serious about switching to Linux and if you have Windows dual-booted (recommended for pure newbies), use it exclusively for 2 weeks, avoid Windows dual booting for that period of time, or it's likely you will start retreating back to windows instead of getting used to Linux as your new home and working on making it feel the way you want it.

How do i permanently delete any application from sound menu in xfce?
I tried with dconf deleting everything from com/canonical/indicator/sound but it gets repopulated with again after starting those applications again . I have banshee and vlc which appear in sound menu no matter what I do.

Pretty nice, overclocks well (got mine to about 4.5 before I decided to stop) plus for some reason its performance is on par with whylake cpus
I prefer i5-4690k for price performance. Hyper threading isn't utilized yet
