iPhone 6S+ battery life is nuts. Sorry if it uploads sideways. Are other current smart phone battery lives as good?

>show battery stats
>of course Apple doesn't mention how long the screen is actually on
>meaningless without that statistic
>mostly music playback with the screen off = fucking irrelevant information

I have a 4 year old Atrix HD with an EB40 battery in it that gives me a consistent 16+ hours of SOT and ~4 days between charges, works just fine for me.
>>
I literally never have to recharge my samshit note 4, the battery just goes from 10 to 100 in just 10 seconds

well I had no idea what this was until I checked

>Revision is the world's biggest pure Demoscene event with visitors from more than 30 countries!

and for those who don't know
>The Demoscene considers itself as a loose connection of creative minds with passions of creating digital art. A 'demo' is created by groups of people, or sometimes single individuals, to DEMOnstrate their skills. The traditional skill base of the demoscene is considered to be coding, music, and design.

Getting ready to take the plunge nig/g/ers. I've narrowed what I want down to Ubuntu 14.04, Kubuntu 14.04, Fedora 23 Cinnamon, and Elementary OS.

I'm not concerned about bloat or miniscule differences in performance, or muh latest bleeding edge versions. I put stability and not having to constantly fuck with it at a higher priority. I just need to be away from Win 10 as much as possible. I do game a bit, but pretty much retro like Baldur's Gate, and that shit's all available on Linux through Steam.

I just need advice on which one to go with from here. It's going to be on an Intel IGP laptop which is my only computer.

Thanks fa/g/s

I've tried all of those, I definitely like Fedora the best.

Fedora is also what they seem to mainly use at universities with Linux workstations, and Fedora is also based off of RHEL which is the only pretty much the only distro used in industry.

to be honest familia
get win7

Yeah, I pretty much don't "game', mate. Thanks for the input.

I love AMD /g/ but i simply can't find a video card like the 750 ti that runs off the PCI slot only, is there a keyword for these cards?
9 posts and 1 images submitted.
>>
I think there was the 270.
>>
>>53708907
OP here, i checked and it does not. The 260 supports this but the 750ti crushes it in price/performance and performance in general

I think the 950 has a 75w model, look into that OP.

Working on a very valuable piece of software right now, to allow temporary use of it until the 4th of April, then it needs to stop running.

I've made it connect to a NIST time server to find out the date, to work around just changing the system date. If the connection fails or the date is past Apr 4th it shuts down.

Would it be worth verifying it isn't being rerouted via the HOSTS file also? Is there a reliable way to do that?

Hey /g/,
I was looking into getting a new graphing calculator for college. None of my upcoming classes care about what kind of calculator I have, so I was hoping to upgrade from the TI-84 (pic related), I have now.
What are some calculators you suggest? Something with good documentation and good multi use would be nice.
I want to get the most out of my money. Also I'm currently an electrical engineering student.

>>
you will not need a calculator for calculus
it's all symbolic expressions

in fact, doing gaussian flux stuff in physics all we had to do was derive things, and not even compute them
