Hi guys,
The situation is that I need a new calculator which should be the same or better as a casio fx-570es plus.
Is there any good calc on ali ?
Any ideas what i should look for or any advice would be appriciated :)
>>53860916
honestly check craiglist, I got a ti-84 for about $25. They had just finished their degree.
Anyone else got the new S7. If so, what do you think?
>>53860399

>>53860431
My old phone was a G3. What's the G5 like in comparison?
>>53860399
>he actually uses material design
Is Samsung note 5 good? Just bought it.
>>53860394

Hackintosh general. How's your rig holding up, /g/? Moved on to 10.11 yet? Any upgrades?
>>53860330
From the thumbnail it looked like there is a spurdo sticker on that case
>>53860330
installed el capitan on my spare hd with loonix, never use it. it's shit for retards
>>53860330
Used to love Hackintosh-ing until Yosemite came out.
It's a major pain in the ass to get my audio drivers working, my GPU working, and getting the OS to use all four cores of my CPU.
Is there any practical advantage to running Linux as the host OS over Windows? I keep hearing that it's better for programming, but there isn't anything like VS or Xamarin on Linux that I know of.
No. Linux is a meme OS.
The people who shill Linux here are the exact same people who go on /pol/ and say the Jews are responsible for everything. They then go back to their Windows 10 desktop.
It's just a herd mentality. Don't buy into the Linux meme. There's a reason it only has 0.8% market share.

Linux has a more trusted network stack and firewall than recent versions of Windows.
For development tools look into Gnome Builder, QT Creator, MonoDevelop, and it never hurts to learn more traditional tools like Emacs or Vi.
So what is this botnet meme all about?
>sends users statistics
Wow, it's fucking nothing. Every program does that, even open source software like Mozilla.
Time to get rid of your tinfoil hats, /g/ents.
Quit pooing in the street Pajeet
>>53860050
this. /g/ really needs to pull the stick out of their asses

Remove the crusty cum between the keys
What version did you buy?
oh yeah, and the Fn button is to the left of the Ctrl button?
How am I supposed to work in the library while surrounded by QTs when i'll be pissing everyone off with this typing?
Does /g/ use wireless for their PC? Because the network card I have is a useless piece of crap. Should I just go get a longer ethernet cable or is it worth it invest in a better network card?
running a cable is always the way to go. it's easy to run through the wall, or you can just lay it on the floor.
Wifi is mostly used for mobility, if you're getting a pcie card look for something that does 1900 AC. They're usually around 80+ dollars
>>53859914
>gimping speeds
>unsecure
>dealing with channel clutter
longer ethernet
Thanks to retarded construction workers my ethernet cable is fucked, I'm using a shitty next usb wifi antenna, it's as fast as my laptop's wifi. 12mbps at ~25 meters.
Tails removed .iso download links from their site because they thought their users were too stupid to verify a gpg signature.
They replaced it with a browser extension that downloads it and does the verification for you (It tests a SHA256 hash of the binary which it downloads from the browser extension authors site instead of doing a gpg web of trust verification).
The author of the extension itself is Giorgio Maone who "is sorry for inserting obfuscated malware into NoScript, which let ads/scripts pass through tens of thousands of its users filters"...

What's the point of having the extension? If the checksum of the iso is to make sure the download was not backdoored, couldn't the extension also be backdoored to accept fake checksums?
>>53859985
We clearly need an extension to download and verify the extension.
>>53860004
But who will verify that extension?
So apparently the rift collects user info and sends it back to facebook. Since /g/entoomen value their privacy so much, what's your opinion on this?
>>53859685
Don't use it.
Oy vey, I didn't see that coming!
>>53859685
Worth it for VR sex with Maki
Has anyone got it already?
Where's my package? Haven't gotten tracking info or anything yet.
Also how can it be still over 24 hours till GB livestream of vive stuff?
>>53859655
This is /g/, not vive customer support you dumb fuck.
This months paycheque went to this little fucker.
I dunno, HTC said they where intentionally inflating the price at launch, and that it'd drop soonish after all the eager early adopters bought up.
Given I live in kangaroo land that could help a lot.
For the meantime I'll just fuck around with HDMI-mipi boards thanks.

what has trump to do with fp?
What's the consensus on Racket for small software development? It would be my first Lisp. I'm mainly attracted to it above other dialects due to all the highly maintained easy to use libraries, and I know fuck all about writing my own bindings, and I'd rather not struggle for hours to get some bullshit that hasn't been updated in a decade to work right.
But I've heard its primary use is just developing scripting languages. Should I use it, or just go with CL?
Which one of you faggots did this? I know you're here
