What are the essential Android apps?
What about the games?
starting a computer science major, need a good laptop to do shit without any problem whatsover and last me for about 5-6 years but i'd also like something that runs games decently (AAA games, Dolphin emulator) and programs like Photoshop and Ableton Live without hiccups
i'm a dorm student so yeah no home PeeCee
Why don't you have 22 cores, /g/?
His personality is abrasive with his little silly faggot antics. Instead of just showing us the TECH we can never afford that he is sponsored with, he frails around with his gay 90's hoop earing and I get lost in reddening rage.
Are water filters a meme? Do they even filter anything?
I mean infrared stones and energy stones surely filter out every contaminant, right?
what other options are there besides the GPL, if one wants to go down the "open source" route?`
I just wanted something that would be a good option for allowing people to use my software and look into the code, but not modify or monetize it
what are the possibilities? I'm talking about a small gaym I'll make
>spent months of savings on building my dream PC
>Once i have it, realize i don't have time to play with it, and when i do, i really don't enjoy vidya as i used to when i was young.
I'm 27 now.
Between college, work, friends and gf, i barely have time for myself, and when i do i prefer to do other things than to play shitty money grabbing AAA games or multiplayer day care games full of pre-teens. Maybe some indies are worth playing, but i certainly don't need a $1500 machine for that.

A powerful computer isn't meant JUST for gaming. Why does everyone think powerful = gaming?
Ever had the displeasure of building an Android app with gradle? Faster indexing on a good computer, reducing a 2 minute wait to seconds.
Hold on to it, and pick up a computer related hobby. Programming, game dev, animation, filmmakin, graphic design, anything really. Gaming isn't the only thing you can do on a PC.

these aren't changing until the next intel/amd cpus are out, and honestly my i7-2600K is still perfectly capable even then
So I'm in the process of gathering cash to build myself a computer that I'll keep in my home studio for audio engineering. While looking for advice as to what I should prioritize in my build, I keep seeing that RAM is the most important component. "Buy as much RAM as you can" - Things like that. Anyone have any other pieces of advice? Can I really just get a cheap Mobo, processor, and PSU and just fill it with 32 gigs or RAM for a decent build?
16gb is enough. More than you'll need. Allow me to put this into perspective.
I work at Luxottica, our server for the IT side for the internal systems for our logging has 32gb and that's near over kill
stark is using apple what is your excuse?
I seriously hope you disable this ''''''''''''''feature'''''''''''''' made for faggots and women.

Would you buy it?
No, other than the absurdly low price the payment methods are Western Union and Moneygram. Red flags in the payment methods alone.
