There are people here who can't accept that insertion into a linked list is O(1), regardless of where you are inserting.
>>55091233
It's O(2) actually.
>>55091233
It isn't O(1) if you don't have the address of the previous node.

Why don't you have 54 cores, /g/?
>>55090894
they're not even in production yet you introverted queef wrangler
Because those are angry birds cores and of use to fucking no one. x86 is more power efficient and supports x86 OSs and software which is a pretty big deal in servers.
Pic related is probably has more raw performance than 54 angry birds cores.

Hello /g
i have many data to backup.
I absolutely do not want to lost them.
i am about to buy an external blue ray burner to backup my data.
Do you think it's a good possibility for keeping for many years my data.
Use M-Disc blurays if you truly need long term storage. Mdiscs are for archival storage purposes and require specific bluray writers to write them.
If you just want it to last a few years then normal blurays are fine.
>>55090418
thank for your answer.
But a Mdisk ca only carry 4.7Go
blue ray can 25 or 50
>>55090435
Mdisc blurays hold the exact same data as a normal bluray, you're probably looking at Mdisc DVDs which use the same tech but for DVD and not Bluray.
Hey guys, next year I'm going to university and I have to buy a new laptop.

I've tried a number of image viewers but I can't seem to find one that allows you to browse a folder(ers) by displaying several images at the same time.
eg. I'd like something that would allow you to multi-view thumbnails in the same window X number at a time, and allow bulk deleting of the entire set being shown.
Ideas?
>>55090353
faststone
any with a folder browsing feature
explorer? it has thumbnails
>>55090370
maybe I wasn't very clear about what I meant...
I want to browse through all the images in a folder (a lot) a certain number at a time, 8 (just an example) thumbnails at a time would be great
hit the arrow key, the next 8 images are shown....ideally with some option to bulk open/move/delete them, I don't need any editing options
I was hoping there might be a plugin for TC, but I didn't see anything
>>55090353
The stock Windows 10 Photos program does that

Quick question
Are ultrawide screens a meme?
I'm about to buy one
they are a meme
hardly anything that is not 16:9 is supported.
you're better off getting a 1440p 16:9 rather than 1080p 21:9
>>55090280
Am about to buy one to.
Consider that you dont get a 29' they have the height of 22' and this sucks, go for a 34'.
A 21:9 will reduce your fps so get a decent gpu.
>>55090348
Right now I have a GTX 970 SC
That should be ok, right?

How do I make money as a Network / Computer Engineering? Do I try to become a manager or go into consulting?
take your time, follow through, and never be afraid because you don't understand what you're doing. That's how you're going to make money.
Go contract, and fix what retarded Network admins can't for mega bux

I want tabs for my cygwin SSH, is console2 the only good option?
I could never get used to tabs for terminals. Still open multiple windows instead.
I tried console2 long long ago, and in the end decided against it because of some technical issue, don't remember what it was.

>>55090157
You might like terminator.
Instead of tabs (which it can also do), it focuses on opening terminals in tiled blocks of four, four terminals for each tabbed page.
You can also increase that or decrease that, it's insanely customizable. I could see someone having an entire screen of mini tiled terminals all inside terminator
Hey /g/, I'm a giant console Idiot and just have a quick stupid question.
I want to buy a case and I've found one that has holes in the front and one that doesn't, i suppose the air is sucked from the bottom or something.
Does this make a huge difference in cooling?
I'm confused since I'm seeing High-End PCs with and without a solid front.
Now I'm wondering if this actually has an effect or is just cosmetic.
Pics are what i would like to buy
It makes some difference, but it's not an huge one.
However, I see those are the bitfenix comrade and neos, and neither of them would be my first choice by far.
What is your budget? I take it you're looking for understated looks.
>>55090058
no holes on the top or front that case looks pretty horrible for air flow. Find another. Whats your budget?
>>55090128
I made my choice really, i like the look
Heya /g/ any clue what the fuck is this? The blue light keeps flashing, slight hum from it too.

• Simple and smart telephone system with Plug & Play functionality
• Affordable scale up to 48 extensions and empowering analog extensions
• Services to monitor and restrict outgoing traffic (as needed) in order for a manager to control communications costs
• Easy hands-on methods for maintenance and operation as PC-Admin software and Speed Editor for updating the user database
Looks kinda like it may be a ups - a battery backup that keeps network equipment online in the event of a power outage.

I just found out something very interesting. The Google Maps car that drives around takes pictures and logs coordinates, but what not many people know is that it logs also WiFI, Cellular and other packets. It logs WiFi SSID's, MAC Addresses and other crap. And the most scary part? They have a fucking API for it. Literally, you enter a MAC Address and you get the pinpointed location of it.
But how will someone get your MAC Address, right?
Imagine this: A XHR Request is made to 192.168.1.1 or likewise, log in with default credentials and sweep the router configuration...

My dad works at google and he says thats not true
yeah just checc the Street View date on your street and if it's recent change your MAC
funny that I just started reading Hacking Exposed and this was one of the first attack vectors detailed
>>55089735
You can only make XHR request to 192.168.1.1 from 192.168.1.1.
