No? Many of these can do 20A or more at 3,6V.
Yea, that's over 70W. Even if you need to do something lossy before you feed the laser, it'll work.

Audiobuget still hasn't replied back to me.
So I finally got around to repairing my surface pro 2. I haven't glued the screen in yet since I still need to remove the frame. It came from the factory with a screw loose under the frame and I do not have a T3 screwdriver to remove the frame. Since I have it apart, I would like to eliminate the annoying rattle. Also, I want to see if I can source a replacement since it was damaged when USPS cracked my screen. And I'm considering replacing the SSD. Any recommendations? It's a mSATA SSD but I'm also looking for a 2242 M.2 SSD for something unrelated.
Anyway, the china screen looks like NOS. The touchscreen and wacom digitizer seem to work great. I haven't tested either too much since the screen isn't secured though. The color, brightness, and contrast on it look like new. I can't really compare it to the original, but take a look. I can take more pictures if anyone wants.
Super easy repair. I just stuck a giant suction cup (like the kind designed for removing dents on car body panels) and hit it with a heat gun until the screen peeled off. Since the glass digitizer was intact when I started, the whole thing came of in one easy piece. It took me longer to peel all the old adhesive off than do anything else.
Anyone have a recommendation for a double AYY battery charger that comes with batteries? Preferably something that wont explode and fire my house.
