The audio ports provide no power, a USB card provides 5v so it at least powers it a bit. I've tried it direct into audio ports and it absolutely does not work. The BM-800 is a condenser microphone which means the plate inside the mic needs to have an electrical charge to work. The more charge, the more sound quality you get. The audio in jacks provide no electricity to the device.

Yeah, clicked on auto both on insured and uninsured purchase, though it's already selected by default.
Couple of minutes after posting the purchase with the mic stand, they sent me the confirmation for my first set of purchases which has insurance and tracking. This one has RS + digits + NL.

Be aware that a lot of chink-o-vision goggles don't have a magnet for triggering actions within the VR apps. That's why they bundle a lot of them with shitty BT controllers.
