Is this really what the world has come to?
Yeah the moto g 4 is so bad that they're begging you to buy it now. Nobody wants that piece of shit.
Smart people always took advantage of retards, the difference being now they have the means to take advantage of all the retards at the same time.
Having options, how is this a bad thing?

Do any left handed people here use the mouse with their left hand? Are there any left handed devices that you own?

My dick
Only weak people
a) use a mouse like what OP posted
b) are left-handed
c) make threads on 4chan

Never. I didn't even know they made left-handed mice until a couple years ago.
Has anyone seen the benchmarks done on the RX 480 with the new AMDGPU-PRO and the open-source stack? The performance of the PRO stack is pretty good, managing to keep up with equivalent NVidia cards. Pic related, the bars with PRO represent the PRO stack, the ones without represent the open Mesa/Gallium3D stack.
But the amazing thing is the performance of the open stack, which came from absolute shit on the launch of the Fury cards, to actually pretty good, and comparable to the proprietary drivers of both AMD and NVidia.
Is the RX 480 now the card for the people...

This is probably the #1 reason to buy this card.
We actually should be promoting open source support, not proprietary garbage
So .pdf's are notoriously vulnerable... and I get all my text books from a certain Russian search engine. Is there anything I can do to secure or sanitize these files besides scanning with MBAM/ MSE?

I made an anonymous git hosting site!
There's no registration, so you can push to any repo without limits.
Think of it like ephemeral git hosting, like 4chan, but for git.
The repos get pruned after 24 hours of inactivity, and I saved myself the hassle of moderating by rejecting any commits containing binary data.
Tell me how it works, and try to break it so I can fix it pls.

>The repos get pruned after 24 hours of inactivity,
sounds useless
>>55327138
Why?
>>55327153
I can make it longer.
The point is, people on /g/ are less willing to collaborate on anything because they're lazy and half of them are too autistic to use github.
This way, there's no barrier to entry!
You can make quick throwaway repos and start writing code immediately.
What's the best value for building/buying a personal media server?
Considerations:
- Upgradability
- Footprint / form factor
- Cost
Will be a server for:
- Plex (1080p or less)
- tt-rss or similar
- Torrent seeding
- Media hard drives
>>55326610
Off lease office equipment. going rate for a Optiplex 980 with a i5 2500 is $150. For storage use a NAS or connect an external.
Forgot to mention that for PLEX it'll likely not need to transcode, but I would want the option to upgrade (to allow transcoding) if necessary. Also, it'll serve 1-2 streams at most.
>>55326740
Good idea. Are these physical or online stores? Where do you see for $150?
>>55326610
depends on what you want to do.
but a cheap second or 3rd gen intel core is strong enough to take advantage of plex hardware accelleration and could stream to an entire household easy enough.
mini itx or micro itx are possible so formfactor isnt an issue. the most expensive part is probably storage.
then you need to decide what software to run.
plex runs on a bunch of operating systems so you could go the free nas route but youd need a bunch of ram for zfs to work correctly. otherwise a standard...

What are you working on, /g/?
Why do you have to force your /pol/ shit onto /dpt/?
Why isn't compiling a 32 bit program as 64 bit just a straight performance win every single time?
Shouldn't the compiler be able to use all the new registers to great effect? It seems like usually the difference is only 1-2%.
>>55326169
64 bit is a meme
Why this pile of shit costs 300$ and not 200$ like they promised
I would much rather buy a 970 instead and have good drivers and reliability
It does cost $200, in fact the price has even carried over to the UK and hasn't even been marked up.
