Google has most of us by the balls. I want to be free. Has anyone here actually done it? Has anyone escaped the strangle hold that google had on them?
Here's what I've done already:
>installed CM13 without GApps on my phone
>changed browsers to firefox
>use searx.me as my search engine
>in the process of switching over to protonmail for email
Soon I will delete my google account for good, but YouTube is keeping me from...

Other business laptops are also welcome in /tpg/ (e.g. Dell Latitude/Precision, HP EliteBook/ZBook).

If you're looking for purchase advice, READ THE BUYERS GUIDE FIRST. Then post, stating budget and requirements (e.g. size and performance).
Don't buy anything OTHER THAN T, X AND W/P SERIES if you want the Real ThinkPad Experience™
Recommended models:
T420 - 14", normal size
X220 - 12.5", ultraportable
----
Why ThinkPad? (also applies to other business laptops)
>Used machines are plentiful and cheap.
>Excellent keyboards - tactile feel and quiet.
>Great durability: chassis uses a magnesium rollcage for structural integrity, with high quality plastic body panels.
>Utilitarian design: e.g. indicator LEDs, 7 row keyboard layout on older models.
>Docking stations that easily turns your laptop into a desktop.
>Easy to repair, upgrade and maintain thanks to readily available service manuals for every model. Spare parts are easy and cheap to obtain.
>The best trackpoint (that red thing in the middle of the keyboard). Great for those who type a lot or hate swiping their fingers all over a touchpad.
>Excellent GNU/Linux & *BSD support.

T420 or T430 in 2k16?
Also is a 1600x900 upgrade worth it, considering that it will drain the battery?

Also where would I service it without worry?
I'm thinking of buying a SARB. Yes I know it's a "cheap" watch, but I like my stuff to last; especially watches.
Also Cream or Black? Are either of them sunburst?

Nice. But I don't see the advantage over subreddits.

P != NP
It's common sense, why argue further?
>>55615942
The existence of "God" is also "common sense" for most people.
>>55615942
Can you prove it?
>>55616006
Sort of. Why is it so hard to fit NP into P? Because obviously they're fundamentally different.
It's not a formal proof of course, it's an appeal to intuition at best.
Hi everybody :) ! Can you please tell me which is the name of this watch? I know it's a Citizen, but i can't find its name on the web!!!!

I can't find it!!
Does anybody know its name?
Can we take a minute to talk about mobile posting? More and more frequently I'm seeing when posting via phone that my IP range has been blocked due to abuse. I'm seeing it more and more frequently. What does this mean and why is this happening? I didn't break any rules or anything.
What? You think you have a static IP on a phone network?
>>55615450
The IP range is being used for abuse. Probably some curry panini spammer in the range. This happens to me on desktop often too.
>>55615450
Yeah that happens to me every now and then when I'm using my data plan.
I usually get a ban message for using proxies but after refreshing the page it always works again.
Hi /g/, I builld my first ever gaming pc, everything works fine. My only problem is that I don't know how to connect the case and front fans with my asus z170 pro gaming mainboard. Pls holp!
You should have manual to your motherboard where the graphical instruction of where do you need to connect things would be.
plug them into the cpu duh
retard
Well, I know where to connect them. The plug just won't fit in the fan ports. Do I need a adapter or something?

Anything wrong with it?
Does anyone on /g/ know regex? I have this string and need to remove everything except "Pepeman, hueman", "Spiderman" and "Moot".Pepeman, hueman A B C Spiderman B D Moot EF MON-FRI,-,
Currently I have 8 lines of shitty Java replace and replaceAll statements but i would like something more clean
>>55615291
Your replace and replaceAll statements are probably more clean than the regex.

But seriously, go to regexone and actually learn regex. Seriously worth the effort.
