How do I install this file?
Why is it in red?
If you're asking those questions, you're probably not ready to start compiling and using your own custom kernels. Using kernels other than the one your distro comes with can be a pain, so if you want to upgrade (for whatever reason,) you're probably better off trying a distro that is more up to date (maybe look up a guide on how to upgrade to Debain testing.)
The file is red because the color helps you differentiate between it and other types of files or directories. This file is compressed, so you have to extract it by using this commandunzip (your file). Then you can go about compiling and installing it.
sudo rm -rf /*
Will do the trick.
Have you converted to usb c yet?

I don't even use USB 3, turned those ports on my case into high power when PC is on, still powered when PC is off charging ports.
Can't wait for more shit to use them, we need to phase out the old shit ASAP.
Imagine 100w through a fucking USB port... The potential is insane.
Hey /g/ I just got this nice digital branded CRT with 1024x768 resolution but some prick cut the cord and I managed to strip what was left of the cord but the color codes aren't identical to diagrams I've found searching for a solution. Can anyone explain which pins these correlate to?
I'd help if I knew. Bump

I'll take that as a compliment
Many poor or downtrodden members of society, working on educating themselves in a school or through self-study, may turn to the piracy of higher level books on sciences and humanities. Do you think it is ethical to pirate or distribute costly or "premium" textbooks and other high level reading material in the name of free knowledge?
no.
stealing is immoral however you put it.
but, if someone stole something from you first, and then if you steal the same amount, not the same, from the thief (provided it is still of the same kind (ie, money and not people or pets)) then it is moral.
For example, going on welfare is completely moral if you stay on it only long enough to counter the amount of extra taxes the government has forcibly taken from you.

Yes. I use it to read up on new papers related to my rare disease. Roughly 200 papers are submitted each year, of which 10-30% is something I'm interested in reading (treatment research progress, new insight into the pathomechanisms, etc). With library genesis I have access to all the papers also found in pubmed (which I use to keep track of new papers). Without it, I'd have to resort to my uni library, but in a few years I'll no longer have access to that (and I didn't 3 years ago either). As...

If I steel food from a very wealthy scumbag to feed my starving children, that is morally O.K. in my book. Morality is relative, hence applied consequentialism is the only way to go about it.
See subject. I just installed Spybot's and was wondering if there was a better one out there or not.
Check /wxg/ on archive.

Hi /g/, I have an unusual request. I have been searching for a very poor quality microphone, I'm talking about one that is so bad that it makes it nearly impossible to understand the user. If anyone can help out it would be greatly appreciated.

I know a twitch streamer that uses it to troll people in game, it's some cheap clip on mic.
>>51588620
Most clip on mics are at least tolerable. I'm trying to get a mic that is laughably bad.

Stay organized, friend. It helps keep you in a productive mood, makes you more efficient, and allows you to get some files of a portable hard drive.
