Sup /g/ I have an "issue". I just got hired at best buy for the holiday season. That isn't the issue, the issue is I applied for the PC/Tablet/etc.. Section and I got hired in the Speaker section. Now I barely know anything about Speaker Systems/Receivers/Soundbars/etc... I am doing some research, but blogs are confusing and boxing day is coming up fast. Could you possibly school me on Surround sound/receivers/soundbars/etc...? Very appreciated.
Nigga, that's what the e-learnings are for. I'm assuming you have those like we do in burgerland. I am also going to assume you'll have co-workers that are not assholes and will teach you some shit about the stuff you're supposed to sell.
What don't you know about them? You probably know enough to satisfy Best Buy as entry level personell. I would think they understand you would learn while on the job. Just guessing though. I only have very limited pleb knowledge of audio setups but I would think I could easily catch on.
Soundbars are single cheap decent solutions to entertainment centers.
Surround sound is multiple speakers in a room 5.1 for example five speakers and a subwoofer.
Receivers as far as I know connect speakers to other devices and are usually more expensive but higher quality shit.
so i bought a gtx 750 ti sc to stick in a store bought acer. it has i5 4440 and 8gb of standard crap ram, also only a 300w psu. will that be enough power to use it, and how well would it perform?
da fuck would you waste money on a 750ti. it's fucking 3 years old mate. and STILL retails for way more than they should have released the card for. for what retailers are charing for this, you should be able to buy a 4gb 960ti. fucking ridiculous
Is there a better Windows 10 tablet price/performance wise than Chuwi Hi8?

Have $1.5k to spend on a new portable workstation. Thinking about a 3k, 32GB used w541. I don't mind the weight, how are the new trackpads however, the w540 trackpad blows big time.
Or should I just buy a used macbookpro?
NetEase Music, basically a free Spotify Premium that lets you download anything you want in high quality with no account needed, is partially blocked in my region now due to copyright. About 75% of all content is blocked (no streaming or downloading). The eternal cryptojew seems to be ensuring NetEase can only stream to china.
What do now?
That's because both are illegally operating, distributing artists works without their permission.
The only thing that puts Spotify and GrooveShark/BotNetEase apart are that Spotify asks.
I'm building my first computer and I can't tell if I've fucked up really badly. I accidentally attatched my heatsink to my cpu before installing the CPU to the mobo.
My question is, can i reseat the CPU properly into the mobo? or do i have to go in raw and try and hope and pray that i line those pins up?

Are there any tablets worth a shit at the moment? I had a Nexus 7 2013 at release and loved it, but at the moment I'm using an iPad Mini 2 which a friend wants to buy from me. Looking at spending ~$300 on a decent Android/Windows tablet. Been looking at the Mi Pad, but the Mi Pad 2 is out, however there's no stock anywhere. I want something with a Nexus feel.
How does this make you feel?
