niggers are outdated, and malfunctioning, farm equipment yet you don't see anyone doing shit about them.

I don't know about sexist and racist, but certainly classist. The growing American lower class certainly can't afford a bachelors degree without taking life ruining risk.

Does anyone know of any highly advanced tech in the world today that is either known or unknown to the public. Or any hidden stuff from any deepweb explorers would be very much appreciated. Thx
Could you repeat the question?

I have some space on my drive and I plan to install some Linux distro along with Windows 7.
Ubuntu, Gentoo and Arch are out of question.
Is Fedora or Mint a good start?

Manjaro. Nuff said. Easy to rice, tons of support, need I say more.

Do I have to rice it? 'Cause I don't have time for that

OK lads, I need to buy an eBook, and I don't know where to get it from. Amazon is out straight away, because I know I should at least aim for the .epub format. And B&N doesn't have this book. So it's down to Google Play Books vs Kobo.
I don't have an eReader atm, so on my laptop I plan to use SumatraPDF, or Calibre. If an open source program doesn't work, I guess I'll use Adobe Digital Editions. I will most likely print it out though.
I might also want to open it on my phone later too. Using FBReader, or whatever works.

Kobo offers DRM-free when the publisher allows it. Good luck finding that info out ahead of time though as it's not clearly listed anywhere.
>>53599153
This particular one definitely has it.
>Download options:EPUB 2 (Adobe DRM)
Google doesn't give any details though, only says:
>Content protection: This content is DRM protected.
So I just need to know if one is more restrictive than the other.
is internet access a necessity?
Not yet.

Retina display did nothing. Apple was just playing catch up with the 854x480 and 800x480 screens of other flagship phones of the day.
>>53598720
>playing catch-up by releasing a significantly better display
okay
>other flagship phones of the day
name them
>>53598753
Motorola Droid
Nexus One
Galaxy S
HTC HD2 and Evo 4G
854x480 to 960x540 is a significantly smaller jump than 480x320 to 854x480. Android phones started the resolution war and iPhones still lag behind on that front with screen resolutions straight out of 2012/2013.
I give up. I've tried everything I could possibly do to get windows 7 on this win10 computer and it hasnt worked out. Are there any ways to help me deal with win 10?

*BSD General Thread
Discuss FreeBSD, OpenBSD, NetBSD, DragonFlyBSD, PC-BSD, etc

Are you a Linux user wondering about why someone might choose BSD?
Give this a read: https://www.over-yonder.net/~fullermd/rants/bsd4linux/01
Thoughts on https://vez.mrsk.me/freebsd-defaults.txt anyone?
So, some time ago I came with the thought of trying BSD operating system. I started reading /g/ what you have to say about it.
I realized that there is more than one version of BSD and I've chosen DragonFly, which is apparently highly regarded by you. So, I downloaded DVD, burnt it and installed that OS. It was nice that it allowed by default to keep my Windows intact.
First boot was awesome. That looked and worked very different compared to Windows, but very nice. Unfortunately, from that it was only worse. And I realized what a piece of crap BSD really is.

Why should I use *BSD instead of centos or Debian?

I read through it the other day. I think he has a lot of good points but many of his suggestions simply cannot be implemented the way he suggested.
While I was reading this I was wondering if this guy was from the OpenBSD project, it seems like he would prefer OpenBSD over FreeBSD.
I bought a new power supply similar to pic related. I plugged it into a pos terminal and after 18 hours it died.
My question is was it more likely a dud or could have something on the board ruined the power supplies?
>brother is lazy
>doesnt care to look for correct charger for his led flashlight.
>picks up the closest DC charger that fits into his flashlight
>plugs it in
>few minutes later smells burning plastic
tl;dr:
dont play around with DC chargers.
>>53597533
My answer is : cauz u suck dicks
>>53597576
>>53597578
The replacement was an equivalent dc charger though.
>learn java, realize its worthless and never use it again

Who ever said Java was completely worthless? It has its place.

Enterprise development for SOA & ESB which pretty much power every fortune 500's server.
Oracle nor Sun intended for hibernate, restful interfaces, and servlets to take off the way they did.. but here we are.
Java made me hate programming until I was redirected to C.
