He used it for a week, said that its shit. It made his eyes sore after 20 minutes, marks on his face, his eye developed spasms when the headset was off, controllers are bad, ugly.
Thoughts?

There are countless positive impressions of VR, and a handful of negative ones, yet people cling to the negative ones like they're the true representation of VR.
Reminds me of the whole vaccines cause autism thing.

the positive impressions for this thing are all by paid shills

It wasn't as good as Windows ME
Because it was the OS you grew up with in your teenager years, when life was better because you had no real worries and most importantly, you had hope.
Now you feel old, bitter and unhappy. Nostalgia is just a cheat to drag your worthless self through your boring life. You aren't happy and you will never be.

holy shit, I actually found someone with that processor.
I'm thinking of getting one. Is it a good choice? (I'd get the Q9550)
My situation is that I got a free computer, old and shitty but in a really nice case. I'm thinking with just a new CPU and GPU, I can turn it into an okay rig. (I'm poor). It has an old Core 2 duo, and I was thinking to put in the Core 2 Quad instead so I could get away with using the same motherboard. Is that a good idea?

Hey anon! Why aren't you using qutebrowser?!
> Cross-platform
> Vim keybindings
> Faster than Firefox and Palememe
> Integrates with your system, allowing you to execute scripts and do whatever you want (e.g. open video link with mpv)
> Very lightweight

Well, there we go. Perfect reason to not use this trash.
>>53786827
Vimperator/pentadactyl can do all of this. If 'qutebrowser' ever becomes even remotely useable it'll be bloated beyond comprehension and will require you to read through the scum manifesto every time you start it to appease the SJW who financed the indiegogo campaign.

Why does everyone on /g/ seemingly hate Windows 10 so much? I genuinely think it's a good product. All the silly rumors about spyware/botnet are straight up lies created by idiot paranoids.
Windows 10 is the safest operating systsem on the market today, with features like smartscreen filter, applocker, cloud-based windows defender, and an improved updates system that ensures no computer stays unpatched and vulnerable.
Additionally, the whole telemetry paranoia is off the charts. They doesn't any personal info and it's only used to fix the bugs. Would you rather give one of the oldest and most reputable American software companies a small bit of info on how you use your computer, or would you rather help provide your entire identity and all your files to cybercriminals?
There is also a lots of other good improvements in Windows 10 like the new Edge Browser, built in appstore, memory compression, DirectX 12, and Cortana assistant. So many good things in Windows 10 but elitist idiots stick to 10 year old windows 7 saying its safer and better. LOL its 2016. Please tell me im not the only person here with even the slightest sense of rationality.

How do I build rust using my system's rust instead of downloading their stage0?
>>53786249
--enable-local-rust
Just want a quick look over this build to make sure there isnt anything stupid there. The processor is a core i3 4170. The build is just gonna be used as web browsing and office work mainly but id rather go with a core i3 than a pentium as it will probably have to last a number of years. thanks. will be buying off amzon uk most likely btw.
How does this little Port take so much abuse? I mean I've had the same mobile phone for nearly three years now which I plug into my micro port at least 3 times a day. And sometimes as if we all know it isn't always the most gentle.
Sometimes I feel as if I'm forcibly ripping it out of the port almost violently. How were these engineered to be so robust I guess is what I'm asking?
^btw I just Googled micro USB port for an image the HTC phone has nothing to do with this thread
Dude.. a port is just a metal box. It's one of the strongest materials on Earth
micro usb is fragile garbage

First lesson: sometimes tables have too much extra space and you need to truncate that space.
Truncate tablename
This must be done on all your tables
