The new ones are going to suck, aren't they?
Fucking Apple pooing all over their last good product instead of the loo.
Steve: Never make a stylus
Steve: Don't have too many products
>14 different laptop models, 10 different phone models
Steve: Stay focused on design and customer experience

I don't think they're in trouble. iPhones, iMacs and MacBooks will keep on selling well no matter what, simply because the average Apple customer doesn't give a shit and will go with whatever Apple is offering. Almost all of my friends use Apple just because, nobody cares about the specs and such and I can't imagine any of them ever changing their brand of preference simply because they don't need to - if it works and looks pretty it's enough.

What are some github alternatives? I don't want to self-host.
You can do everything you want on every single major OS there is and they all suck the same.
Why """hide""" your feces in the toilet anyway?
What kind of syntax do I need to make a filter for getting rid of overwatch threads on /v/?
thanks for the bump
will this work?
I read the help and just looking for /g/uidance
Microsoft is light years ahead when it comes to protecting the free world from the axis of evil.
What does Linux do in our fight against Terrorism?
How many terrorists are using Linux in this very moment? Unclear.
Are terrorists using Linux in this very moment? Almost certainly.
I need a new laptop and I'm looking to buy an x220 on eBay.
Should I get the regular laptop or the 2-in-1?
My current laptop is a 2-in-1 and I like having that option, but I want to know about the build quality of the x220 2-in-1.
Touchscreen or no? Which screen has a better brightness because I would like to use it outside.
And finally, x220 looks heavy. How heavy is it? I don't mind anything up to 4-5lbs.
Go ask in /tpg/
>And finally, x220 looks heavy. How heavy is it? I don't mind anything up to 4-5lbs.
'looks heavy'? How thick are you? Too thick to look up the specs of the machine it seems.
I got a t420 on ebay a couple of days ago, still waiting for it
First I wanted an x220 but the screen size bothered me, its too small for me
That being said, I think you should get the ideapad 100
Why is the font rendering on Windows so bad? Aren't the Apple patents expire?
>he thinks his 1440p 144hz monitor is good, but it's actually so bad it doesn't even cover a least 95% of sRGB and the Delta E is over 3
enjoy your shit colors
Should I even bother going through more tutorials if I already know the basics of programming? Should I just choose something to make and use google a shitload?
I nkow all about loops etc. I know that objects are ways to reuse code and organise data.
I know nothing about anything but I have too much money to care.
Should I get a GTX1080 or 3xRX480?
How good will Vega be over RX480 anyways?
It's not too bad these days.
I was running two GTX460's in SLI for awhile and most all games I played ran fine with no issues.
I got them on sale as well $150 each I think and combined they had nearly the same performance as a 480 on 1080p games.
I know that /g/ was quick to call HardOCP a shill for this article
What he claimed that his inside sources had told him that: 'Polaris was significantly slower and less efficient than Pascal'
Now that both parties have shown their 150w tdp cards, the 1070 and the 480, the first outputting 980ti performance and the second outputting 390-390x performance, I can only conclude he was right.
At its price point it's still a competitive card, but...

We don't know yet.
We only know that peak consumption of the 480 is 150w.
We don't know idle power consumption (most important for electric bill) and we don't know load power consumption (for how hot the card runs).
Now you can stop speculating, and stop shitting on AMD. At least until the first benchmarks come out.
Thinking of getting a Blue Snowball, is there any better choice for this cheap price range? I'd like to keep it to around 100 bucks or lower.
USB or not. The /g/ guide is a little barebones on this
Seriously, the snowball isn't worth it.If you're looking for something USB (aka. don't have an interface & phantom), have a look at something cheap like the Behringer C-1U.If you have a way of plugging in an XLR condenser and powering it then I'd look into the AT2020 (not sure how good it is) or the GXL3000 (been using it for the past year and works great).
Sup /g/, /fit/ here. I was recently hired to be a software developer at a big tech company. However, I'm totally unprepared for it (I'm pretty sure at this point they just hired me to fulfill diversity requirements). How do I learn C++and Linux in a week?
Are you me?
I got hired as a developer after sitting around playing games for a year after graduating university (compsci). I had literally no work experience, never had a job, did no internships, did no coding outside of school, never had sex, etc. My resume stated all of this as well. The only reason I think I got hired was because I was able to check off minority in the application, and I am only half a minority.
You learn mostly on the job. Just Google and browse source control to learn.
got a refurbished x200s with 4gb ram
which linux based OS should I install ?
You're already going to pride yourself on using inferior tech so debian would be a perfect fit
>time tested rock solid stable dont fix whats not broken real job mature adult step aside ricers *drives off in crown vic*
Periodically it is putting a little small pixel "ant" on my screen, which magically disappears when I close f.lux. It was a deliberate attempt at trolling, but it is too distracting. Fuck this cuckware. Are there any open sore alternatives?
