Daily reminder that linux is crap, This bug in smb affects 90% of linux users and it still hasnt been fixed for and entire year now.
https://bugs.launchpad.net/ubuntu/+source/gvfs/+bug/1409032
>>55617457
It's still present in the latest Mint as well.
>>55617457
You really should not try and use Linux like windows, its another whole ecosystem. Trying to tie something like smb only begs for trouble, however we have tried to maintain in anyway to alleviate the problems people have trying to use both at the same time.
>>55618174
I don't even use SMB but the point is it's installed by default in a lot of distros.

What are you working on, /g/?
I'm trying to learn how to use OpenGL (the graphics library for C/C++), and am using the following tutorial:
http://www.opengl-tutorial.org/beginners-tutorials/tutorial-1-opening-a-window/
I'm currently on tutorial 2 and am getting the following error/Projects/OpenGLTutorials/ogl-OpenGL-tutorial_0015_33/tutorial02_red_triangle/tutorial02_red_triangle

Does whatever you want to do with your pc work with other OS? Besides that I really got nothing.
Ok /g/, I'm building a PC for my girlfriend. Just kidding. We all know it's for my wife's son.
Anyway, what is the best quality micro atx case for the money? The budget for the case is around $50-$75.
its a box that (hopefully) you will never have to mess with after sticking it under your desk.
by the cheapest one you can find
>>55617296
Avoid towers with cheap plastic windows.
>>55617322
I got a case for $25 that ended up being $15 after rebate and while it does work, cable management was an absolute bitch and it was made out of paper thin steel or aluminium.
Sometimes it's good to buy a quality case unless you can find a deal like that.
I need a new PSU because my PC keeps freezing when i play games.

you don't need more than 450w for most setups.
>>55617419
My current one has 500 i think but its from a shitty country and it doesnt have the 80+ thing or smthing
>>55617443
freezes must come from somewhere else in the system then, even shitty 500 should have plenty headroom
Why isnt /g/ excited for this? Practically a full Linux computer with emulators in the pocket..

Jessie is a friend,
Yeah, I know he's been a good friend of mine
But lately something's changed
It ain't hard to define
Jessie's got himself a girl and I want to make her mine
And she's watching him with those eyes
And she's lovin' him with that body, I just know it!
And he's holding her in his arms late, late at night
You know I wish that I had Jessie's girl
I wish that I had Jessie's girl
Where can I find a woman like that?

Smart phones are already a thing.
Just use termux if you need Linux on your Android phone, comes with apt and has a decent list of packages, don't need root.
What are some affordable /g/-approved powerbanks?
Anker PowerCore+ 26800mAh, the only power bank you'll ever need. It even powers a fucking MacBook

/g/ is there any keyboard on android better than Fleksy or should i just keep use it? I heard the Fleksy team ran out of buisness.
Bump, need answers. Fleksys autocorrect is shit.
Bump. Using default rn
Why not AOSP keyboard? If you aren't tinfoil like me you could go ahead and use Google keyboard.
There's one xposed module Flat style keyboard which tints keyboard and it's pretty good. No other third party bloated keyboard required.
>tfw no motivation for programming
Find a new project to do.

Is it possible to make computer cluster with few processor architectures? i.e. AMD64 and ARM in one cluster.
I've used Linux at school but now I want to install it on my laptop. I want to look cool (no Ubuntu), but I also want something that works. Which distro?
what key/value store would you recommend?
What's your excuse for not getting a 1005.39$ windows phone?
I like shoving my cock down women's throats, and you can't do that without a iPhone
Windows is only usuable on desktop and even there it falls short if you are not into pc gaiming.
