Why not AOSP keyboard? If you aren't tinfoil like me you could go ahead and use Google keyboard.
There's one xposed module Flat style keyboard which tints keyboard and it's pretty good. No other third party bloated keyboard required.

Idk. I am on 5.0 and there are newer versions. But possibly no.
But as I told flat style makes it pretty good famalam sort of adding background and automatic coloring according to your status or navbar color. You should try it.

It has themes, and you can set it to an image as of like a day ago. Also the slide from backspace and slide on space bar are cool features.

If you go into input settings and click Google Keyboard US or whatever there is a bunch of settings including themes.
