Can't figure it out. What should I add/delete /g/?
I work as an I.T tech in a school and make around 40k per year (only work 30 hours per week). The job has great perks, such as 10 paid weeks off per year and flexible start/finish times.
But I want to earn more but I'm not sure where to go from here. I have a simple networking cert and no interest in programming.
What does /g/ reccommend?
I obtained an iPhone for free. It had a very strong adhesive "case" attached to it. I removed all the gunk using ethanol, but apparently a bit of it somehow ended up under the screen.
I'm not worried about damage, as it's 96% alcohol, but how do I get it out? Will rice remove the remains of the liquid? I put it under a warming bulb in a container with rice, close enough so it doesn't surpass 45 degrees, although the boiling temp for ethanol is about 78 degrees.
So any suggestions on how to get it fixed? Should I just wait? There have been...

What's the best way to attack and take down a wireless network?
Let's be honest /g/, OS X is pretty nice.
So why doesn't Apple develop OS X to run on most hardware and sell it as an installable OS like Microsoft does with Windows?
They were supposed to release the first new build this year. Any word of it's still coming? I can't imagine they forked over millions of dollars to not do anything with it.
>tying yourself down to one shitty platform.
I've tried the streaming service. While the prices are fine it's having to use their god awful platforms that keeps me away. I don't want to use GPM on my phone, or a browser browser to play music.
I have a decent gaming / livestreaming setup but not finding it what
I want, I want a comforter setup. I kind of want a corner desk but
I cant find the right place to get one, all the places i've looked at
are shit and ugly, Someone help me find a place where I can get a
nice looking wood desk (corner) either custom or pre cut.
How badly did I fuck up?
>could spend 150 for mobo+cpu
>will perform just as good for your gaymen
why didn't you go AMD?
why would you give money to a company which goes out of its way just to kek its consumers?
>30% hike in price
>just to give you the OPTION to overclock for a measly 0-5% increase in performance
makes me want to puke.
If you put "3000" at the end of your username in 1000 years will people think you're a 15 years old?
Who /windowblinds/ here?
>adding sleep functions to your program just to make it seem like it's doing more behind the scenes than it really is
Am I the only person who does this? And yes, I know it's pathetic.
Hey /g/. I have a very nice server box in my room. It's laying around, all ready to do something sweet, but I need ideas.
So, if you had a spare server box, what would you do? I want to do something really cool. Feel free to dumb it down for me, because, well, I'm me.
(Please don't ask for the model or specs, just suggest cool things.)
>Please don't ask for the model or specs
Netburst Xeon with 4GB of RAM and 160GB SCSI 320 disks idling at 700 watts fans screaming louder than a jet engine detected.
Seriously fuck off with this shit. Your server from 2003 is worthless.
Any of you tech pros use wireless charging?
What's the best one out there?
Hi, I've been thinking about building my own computer for awhile now and I still can't decide whether I should get AMD or Intel. this is a poll, please answer here: http://strawpoll.me/6034124
Android and iOS are a step backwards. Palm OS and Symbian were way better but they lost out due to a false media campaign against them. People still fall for the same propaganda today.
people use only web browser on their PCs and no other programs, but on a phone they expect a separate app for every website they visit.
Want a good mobile OS that still exists (but soon won't), buy a blackberry.
