Hello /g/-men,
I too a peak into Fortran. Coming from Lisp, C/C++ and Java I found Fortran to be pleasant simple for a "low level" language. Since then I wonder why it isn't considered as a big player outside of science.
Then I searched for "common" libraries like ImageMagick or GTK to use in Fortran. Sadly I didn't find anything pleasant. The only way is to write glue code between C and Fortran, but again I did not find many or any significant library that is included in Debian or Fedora. Are there any?

Use matlab.

Geophysics student, FORTRAN was my first language and I prefer it a million times over Octave/Matlab, AMA desu baka reddit!
My professor gave us this question and wanted us all to explain the logic behind it. It is a trick question but I'm not sure if that's because of the way the question is worded. My explanation is the answer is 6 because there's a total of 5 connections and the router has its own IP address as well.
>>51757270
I think it means how many ips are assigned to the router. Not how many it assigned to other devices. So 1, if the wan port doesn't have some unusually set setting. But the question is too vague
the answer is 2 you dingus, 1 for the WAN which is the public ip, and 1 for the LAN which is the default gateway

So I bought a ThinkPad T450s during the thanksgiving week deals... and I am so fucking disapointed:
First, the construction is between bad and ok. This is not a robust at all, cheap finishing and it feels cheap overall, cracky and flex everywhere.
Then, the trackpad is just terrible, the new keyboard texture is disgusting and its layout just stupid, and the pointing stick painful (wtf lenovo??).
The HDD is super noisy (it literally sounds like a computer from the 90's), and the cooler isn't better either...

I just won £60k. Paid off debts and done other sensible things (emergency fund, nest egg) and now I want a new PC.
I want a six monitor behemoth. No idea where to start looking for such a pointless build, so I was hoping somebody would enjoy building a desktop if budget were no issue.
Most expensive wins.
If you're serious, show some proof or fuck off. 95% likely you're a high school faggot who just likes jerking off to expensive builds he can never actually afford to buy.
>>51756829
wtf are you gonna use 6 monitors for, thats just impractical
I sometimes wonder how It would be to have a massive amounts of money to spend on bullshit.
One thing I can say for sure is you will helluvalot dissapointed with your six monitors.
I'd go for a nice-as-fuck expensive 3:2 monitor on a pretty, solid and functional regulated desk plugged to a pretty powerful workstation that was build to operate as quiet as it's possible.

>FreeSync over HDMI was shown as a concept during this June's Computex trade show in Taipei, Taiwan, and its formal introduction makes sense because HDMI-enabled monitors typically start at lower prices than those equipped with DisplayPort, which is, until now, the only connection available to drive either FreeSync or rival G-Sync

They really need to hurry the fuck up, I want jew-sync dead, if this is anything like the introduction of freesync the it'll be years before this gets into customers hands.
