That's weird as fuck though. What will they do about updates that require restarting? You'd be restarting every one or two days. Maybe they'll find a way to patch low level stuff on the fly.
I wish they wouldn't get rid of it though, its the most logical way to distribute patches and updating on Patch Tuesday is burned into my soul over the years. Probably a pain in the butt for future sysadmins too.
