Software / data / media or combination?
RAID is for people unable to take intelligent backups, wasting space on stupendous redundancy.

Sup guys, I have a CX 750M that shorted out about a week ago. I went ahead and brought out my older PSU which is 500 Watts to hook into my computer. The problem is that I only have one 6 pin connector for the PSU and my gfx card takes two. The GPU is r9 270x. I went to a friends house to grab one of his psu's and tried to nigger rig it to plug it into the wall and plug the 6 pin from friends psu into the gfx card and the 6 pin from my psu into the card. Needless to say, it didn't work. Is there any viable way to actually rig 2 psu's into one gfx card?

>Is there any viable way to actually rig 2 psu's into one gfx card?
I'm so sorry.
>>52116762
Find the box your gfx card came in there will probably be a double molex to 6 pin connector chucked in there.
Sell both and get a new one!
Kidding, this is an interesting question and I wanted to bump
Are you certain there are no adapters that you could use so it add an extra 6 pins?
with dropbox and other services why do you even need to buy a hard drive /g/?

Da fuck is this shit dad I wanted an iPad. Who the fuck uses a desktop PC in 2015
10-years-old seems like an apposite age. I remember being 10 and playing Runescape.

How do I motivate myself to learn a programming language? I did some C in college last year but haven't touched anything since. What do I do?
Threadly reminder that coding is not the proper term to use when referring to the act of programming
You are a programmer not a coder
While programming you produce code

What kinda data does /g/ hoard? I myself hoard 4chan user generated content, mainly because someone has to do it.
>>52111857
OP, just accept that everything is temporary and treat it as such
I have two 4 TB drives for anime. That's my main hoarding activity.
>>52112948
Oh, yeah and I have a bit over 1 TB of anime on a third disk too.

He's going off on twitter right now about the police arresting him and beating him up for knocking on a neighbor's door. He also said NIGGER in one post, so yeah...he might not kill himself, but he's committing career suicide for sure.

Is the onboard audio of the "MSI Z170A KRAIT GAMING "good or should i get a soundcard?

I have the older Z97 version and I can say that the sound quality is something that only an audiophile could find a problem with.
How does it feel knowing that the Anyone Can Codeâ„¢ movement will lead to the current status quo of male nerds being pushed out of their overpaid skilled labor positions in favor of unskilled plebs, day laborers and soccer moms who learned just enough to operate a drag and drop interface, all making webapps using big cushy frameworks?
You won't even need math anymore, there's always a Javascript library to cover all your use cases.
>>52106409
pretty good. the complex math-oriented stuff i do in software can't be done by just any ol dev-guy, certainly not by any poo or woman in general. if you're prognostication proves true, then demand for my skills will only grow larger and more valuable.
I'm not too worried.
Here's a sample of some of the requests I got at work:
1: We need to connect a remote touchscreen to the primary touchscreen via USB so that the app's UI automatically appears on the remote touchscreen when plugged in. How do we configure embedded Linux to do this? (Answer: use X-forwarding over IP, and install the IP-over-USB drivers on both touchscreens. Then write scripts that configure the network and launch the app with the correct DISPLAY set.)
2: We need field-service technicians to be able to install software...

>there's always a Javascript library to cover all your use cases
And people wonder why websites are getting slower and slower serving megabytes of scripts with kilobytes of actual useful content.
But in regards to the whole "anyone can code" argument, I have to ask, has anything truly groundbreaking come from someone who has gone through a coding bootcamp?

I've known people who've never owned a PC (1st gen immigrants/old people/minorities) but own an Android phone. The page doesn't really say if its mobile, desktop, or overall.
