What have you upgraded recently?
What are you looking to upgrade next?

>have i5 2500K / 8GB RAM / 128GB SSD / HD7850
Another 8GB RAM and a 500GB SSD (together about €180) would be a nice upgrade, right? Or would that be throwing away money?

The benchmarks are in. OP has just set a new low!

Everybody already knows that Nvidia is shit. We don't need an hourly thread reaffirming that fact.

Ok, I know Reacting is all scripted, but would you really screw yourself world wide by acting dumb on a video?
I mean, ok stupidity is a thing, but this goes too far...
We need development on this app but the developer seems to go back and forth with updating it, why isn't there a good alternative to this
Looks pretty much the same as chanu to me.

I haven't used Windows/MPC in a while but I'm sure you could set it to loop.

Hi everyone, in addition to this being your daily reminder that 90% of PC gamers don't know what the fuck they are talking about when it comes to building a cost-effective system for gaming, I have come back from a weekend of stress testing my garbage build, which many of you were apt to make fun of due to your limitless ignorance and utter lack of initiative.
Here's the system spec for reference:
CPU: Intel Xeon W3680
CPU Cooler: Cooler Master Seidon 120V AIO Water Cooler
Motherboard: EVGA FTW3
RAM: 4x4 16gb (dual channel configuration due to my...

Witcher 3 was pretty much as expected.
As you can see, DayZ was really something of an anomaly. Based on usage stats alone, there's no bottleneck - yet the FPS experienced was extremely, noticeably low. HOWEVER, gameplay did not feel as choppy as that FPS would normally feel on other games; in fact the game was pretty much playable, though it did have some very undesirable choppiness when moving quickly in large urban environments. I really don't know what to think of this benchmark, so I'd...

Great post OP, too bad that graph fails to mention what's it's even measuring, the selected graphics API, and the graphics quality settings.
Hello all.
Just trying to get some ideas on the two systems I have. One is an i5 2400 with a MB out of a Lenovo PC. Q67 chipset iirc. So I can't tweak it. The other is a i7 940, in a Dell XPS 730X. It has overclocking options. Given the option of overclocking, which would you go for? Benchmarks I've found say the i5 edges out the i7, at stock speeds. But if I can tweak it faster, I'll go with the i7. I know these are old. But its what I have to work with, and I know they are better than my old Phenom II setups.
>>53377384
Go i7. I've got a 930 running at 4.1ghz.
That's what I'm hoping for. Alot of info was saying that Sandy Bridge would be way better. But I'm hoping the increase in raw speed would make up for it. Seems that could the case.
>>53377384
Throw away the i7, get a x58 motherboard and a xeon w3670. Overclock it to 4ghz and you're done.
>6/12 cores @4ghz
>6 ram slots for wasting cheap 4gb sticks until you hit 24gb ddr3. Get 12gb almost for free recycling 2gb modules nobody wants today
>the motherboard supports usb 3.0 along being a server class mobo (which means its very high quality and supports more stuff)

I wonder if a DAC will improve my sound quality.
I currently have a headphone amp connected to my MSI z97 gaming 5 motherboard. I listen to hd650 headphones.
Does anyone have personal experience?
You already have 2 DACs.
