What does this mean /g/? All the other Skylake chipsets say 8GT/s DMI3 (including B150). Is H110 a p.o.s?
Well I just looked at some Skylake CPUs on ark and even the Pentiums say they are 8GT/s DMI3. Does this mean H110 is a limiting factor on Skylake CPUs? If so why does nobody mention this? Why would anyone buy H110?
Hey /g/, I've been working on a practice ASP.NET project and I really want to get some experience uploading to a production environment. Naturally, I expect low to no traffic, and won't be hosting anything big.
Currently looking at Microsoft Azure, but I thought I would see if any gurus had strong opinions one way or another on the subject.
So I want the RX 480, I am upgrading from the tastefully designed EVGA 750Ti. I want the minimalistic design of the reference 480, but not the 6-pin and its issues. I also do not want to riced out cards that the board manufactures are inevitably going to put out. Should I wait for the 1060 or ignore the memes and get the reference 480?
>I want the minimalistic design of the reference 480
that kinda rules out the 1060 (in terms of design, not disputing performance)
The Rx480 6 pins are equivalent to 8 pins (3*12v pins / 3 gnd- no sensor pin). The pci peg connector power load has been fixed. BUT the cooler for the ref design still undeniably sucks.
So, if you plan to run only stock I don't see any other options. The only card I've seen so far that fits into the minimalist design concept is the Sapphire Nitro Rx480.
Hello fellow keyboard warriors.
I need your advice on a tenkeyless-non-mechanical keyboard.
>full-size keyboard, arms in awkward position
>back, right shoulder and arm hurt like a motherfucker after a day at work
>crowded office, can't use mechanical master-race
>for reasons unknown to mankind, there are no decent compact non mechanical keyboards
>wired or wireless
Please advise anon, my shoulder...

You seem to forget that there's one amazing one. Works both wired and wireless. Month of battery life.
What's /g/s favorite website other than 4Chins?
Hey /g/ first time building a computer and I've got everything but the graphics card, pretty much anything under $450 I can get ($1200 build).
Right now I'm looking at the Sapphire Nitro Radeon R9 390X, is there something better?
If you're looking to spend more than ~$250, are willing to spend up to $450 but not over $600 then the only logical choice is a GTX 1070 at this point. It beats the RX 480 and the older AMD offerings at everything and is actually pretty cost efficient($ per performance pt is reasonably good compared to value king RX480) despite having to overpay a bit due to scarcity.
What's the best PDF reader for textbooks on Windows?
Which is better for a CS course: OS X or Linux? I personally like Linux a lot, but I would theoretically be able to virtualize all of the major operating systems on a Mac. Also Thinkpads are much much better hardware.
what did they mean by this?
Is this a joke?
I got this emailed to me by a job recruiter after sending them my resume.
On my resume I state I can code in like 3 different languages, and they want me to show that I can type in MS Word or understand common math functions in Excel?
Are they fucking with me? I feel insulted for even being asked to take a test on this shit.
