What does this mean /g/? All the other Skylake chipsets say 8GT/s DMI3 (including B150). Is H110 a p.o.s?

Well I just looked at some Skylake CPUs on ark and even the Pentiums say they are 8GT/s DMI3. Does this mean H110 is a limiting factor on Skylake CPUs? If so why does nobody mention this? Why would anyone buy H110?

B150 is like, what, a few pounds more expensive? The prices of H110 and B150 boards overlap.
My point though is that I've literally never seen anyone talk about this. No references on Google, nobody mentioning it when talking about H110 boards, nothing. I see build threads on /g/ with people using H110 boards for xtreme gaymin rigs, while being completely unaware of this (what I assume) is a limiting factor. Again I made this thread to ask about it, but if my assumptions are correct, Intel have a made a chipset for Skylake processors that is below the Skylake specification, and will bottleneck it. If this is true, H110 is a piece of shit.

I think nobody just gives a fuck. I don't know anything about the chipsets outside of what you see from the link I provided earlier and I don't want to know more either. These are icky mainstream consumer products. Nothing special to them, just cheap prices.
What I do know is that the bottleneck is irrelevant. Look at the I/O on that chipset. It has less of everything. Less USB 3, less SATA3, it's just a weaker chipset. No M.2, no dual slot PCI-E 16 configs possible, etc. I'm pretty sure the PCI-E slot will still run at the same speed as any other skylake board since that's directly off the processor not the chipset, so even if PCI-E bandwidth mattered it wouldn't make a difference for gaming.

Well I'd personally never buy a H110 board anyway, it just struck me how it is actually sub-spec compared to all other chipsets, and nobody even knows (Whether they would care or not, I just don't think they even know).
B150 is actually business btw (although it has been widely used in xtreme gaymin mobos because why not it's a good chipset).

No, your assessment is probably correct. People don't know, but that is largely helped by the fact that they don't care. Like what HW enthusiast is going to look at the specs of this thing? I only looked because you pointed it out. Frankly I had no idea this chipset even existed.
The kind of person who buys a board with this chipset looks at the price first and then whether he can make the board work for his needs. I actually used to make purchase decisions like that myself back when I was still dependent on my mum for money. I just couldn't afford the good shit and every cent counted.
