I have project fi.
I like it in general, but I wish they had an unlimited data plan. It's probably still cheaper than most services, but I find myself not using internet when I don't have wifi because I know it'll cost me money.

It is comforting with how you usually pay for 10 gig a month or whatever so you use your data pretty much guilt free but in the end I am sure this project Fi would save a lot of cash because I rarely go near my limit.
If Project Fi were to get HTC 10 or whatever I would jump on board instantly next fall.

also keep in mind non-streaming video can sit around being encoded better and smaller for better quality than the on the fly compression of streaming video
add to all that you take awhile to even upload a video to youtube and then people use their stronger download speeds to watch it faster from there in higher quality
so just add all those factors together and it's fucking obvious why streaming at high quality...
